Checking in was a little hectic after the car ride but they helped through it all and made it easier it was very peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed the time there.
Absolutely beautiful home up in the mountains!! Our family had a blast creating new memories together! Communication with the host was super easy and stress free, would highly recommend.
Overall we had a great first time in the Smokies. We had a few hiccups for our tripBut the issues were addressed quickly. Great stay and perfect location about ten minutes from downtown Gatlinburg but also a quiet serene setting when you just wanted to relax.
Cabin was nice and peaceful however upon arriving the dryer cord was unplugged laying on top defective. WiFi did not work. Theres no remote to the 19" bedroom TV. There was stains all over the comforter. The hostess replies were fast and was promised to correct the issues but never heard another word from them. The rest of the cabin was clean. We ended up sleeping on the sofa bed cause of the stains and the TV.Also the doors to the washing machine was broke and rotted at the bottom so they wouldn't open but we didnt get to use it anyways cause dryer was down. Not how we wanting to spend our 29th anniversary.

The host did everything they could to make things right. The home is beautiful. The hot tub on the front porch is fantastic. The road getting to and from the house is narrow with a steep drop and no guardrails. The wifi didn't work very well. Although it wasn't the place for us, I'm sure it's excactly what some travelers need.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. We’re glad you found Mountain Dew beautiful and enjoyed the front-porch hot tub. Your feedback about the WiFi helps us improve for future guests. Thank you again for staying with us.
We had issues with the hot tub when we arrived. The host was very timely in having someone out to fix it as soon as I let them know! The beds were comfortable and it was easy to find. I’ve stayed in several cabins and this was the first time I didn’t get lost trying to get there! We even stayed an extra night! Can’t wait to go back! We also saw a family of black bears while heading into tow one day.
It had everything we needed to live comfortably. Hot tub was very relaxing too. Ot would have been nice if the alarm wasnt set went we entered and no way to turn it off. Luckily my wife had a signal on her cell and was able to call someone to tirn ot off. It was a bit stressful for the first 5 minutes though.
The cabin was very clean and cozy. My wife and I really enjoyed staying here. The location is great it’s not far from Gatlinburg but yet in a very quiet and peaceful location, not much of a view out of the windows but just a very short walk down the street you can see an amazing view. Everything was as described in the listing and the check in and out process was simple. We would definitely recommend this cabin and will be staying here again ourselves.
We arrived after 10pm at "Mountain Dew". After entering the cabin we heard the sound of beeping which turned out to be an alarm awaiting a disarm code before going off. Prior to our arrival we had not been made aware that there was an alarm, nor were we provided a disarm code. Without a code the alarm began going off, and I attempted to call the number listed on the wall for help with the alarm, but the phone number was no longer in service. I sought help through the Vrbo app and received assurance that our issue would be resolved soon. While waiting for resolution we also discovered that the WIFI information provided was inaccurate and that the clothes dryer was inoperative due to an obviously scorched plug sitting atop the unit. After a couple hours of waiting we discovered that holding the enter button on the alarm keypad temporarily silenced the alarm, so we went to bed. In the morning we opened the front door and the alarm went off again. A woman came over at that point complaining that Avada, the property management company, had been contacting her late into the night due to the issues we were experiencing. We could not believe that she chose to leave us struggling with an alarm rather than coming over (from next door) and addressing the issue. We would not recommend staying at this cabin.
The cabin was everything it said it would be!! We stayed here for our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. The hot tub was so relaxing and the jacuzzi tub was romantic!! The cabin was very clean and the neighborhood was peaceful. Talk about a relaxing, romantic but fun time!!! Would definitely stay here again. I wanted to catch a glimpse of a bear but we werent that lucky but hey....
The cabin had a very musty smell, the mattress cover in the second bedroom was moldy, the shower nobs were molded, there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher. We weren’t in the cabin very often as we were out exploring nature with our kids.

I appreciate your feedback and will address these issues with our cleaning team. You're welcome back anytime.
This was a fantastic place to stay we had a great time and it was beautiful. There were a few small issues we had to contact the property manager about, which he worked quickly to deal with. One thing to note is that there is no cell service out there. So make sure you have all your check-in information available before you arrive. The hot tub was a great addition for our evenings. The kitchen had a decent enough variety of items available for our basic cooking needs. We were a little disappointed that we had to clean the barbecue before we could use it and there was leftover food down inside the grill that we had to clean out. The jetted tub in the living room was a little quirky. We did not use it because well it was in the living room and it also leaked from the water handle when we turned the water on. We noted that the cabin smelled strongly of sulphur when we arrived, but opening the windows remedied that within no time and we didn't smell it for the rest of our stay. We did not see any bears during our stay. Also to note, garbage service comes early and maybe I missed it in the information about our stay, but it would be good for guests to know when to have the trash out and ready for pickup. I would definitely stay here again. It was well worth it.

Thank you for the 5-star rating! We're glad you had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mountain Dew and that your questions were answered quickly. We appreciate you choosing our property and hope to host you again.
This place was amazing! We saw bears every day and night and we saw skunks and squirrels, it was so peaceful and quiet! I would highly recommend this place if you are looking to get closer to nature!! The hot tub on the porch was so nice at night! We had the best time and will definitely go back again! It was very clean and well stocked with towels and starter packs of essentials.
Enjoyed our stay very much! Only difficulty we had was with the alarm after first arriving, but was able to reach assistance quickly by cellnphone to get instructions on shutting it off!
