This was a perfect place for our large family , plenty of places for different people to enjoy board games or watch Tv. The hike to the beach was longer than we thought with little ones. The beach was quite and very relaxing

The house was lovely and clean. Crazy layout to maximize sleeping space, but worked perfectly for us. Approval process with homeowner/host was detailed and you can tell that they would like to keep the property pristine. Got a kick out of learning the history of the house in the guestbook and it added to the charm. Overall a fantastic property!

We had a wonderful time at our stay. The host Steve was very welcoming. The house is a duplex style, but perfect for my big family to celebrate my daughter turning 13! We had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the Lights at Nights in downtown in the evening.

Great Spot for Groups

Had an amazing time staying at this property. Great location right on the beach and near a lot of great spots. We had a large group with a few kids and it was perfect for us. Steve and Nikki were very responsive from the beginning and very helpful. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

Our family had an excellent staycation in St. Augustine Beach! The Cottage met all our needs for a large family gathering! We had easy beach access and a great backyard for gathering at the end of the day! The house made having a great beach weekend so easy! We had access to a beach cart, chairs, beach towels and umbrellas too! And if we forgot anything such as a toothbrush or kitchen essentials all we had to do is check out the kitchen pantry or bathroom vanity! Steve and Nikki love this home and are excellent hosts!

Just Lovely

We all thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Salty C, and how well-kept, well-stocked, comfortable, cozy, and clean it is. Perfect backyard for the teens to play spikeball and volleyball, or we (more chill) adults to play croquet. The owner’s description of the property was spot-on, and they were super easy to communicate with. We hope to come back for a longer stay.

My family and I had a wonderful time.

This was our first time to St. Augustine, and because I have a large family, we rented this beach property. We loved being able to walk to the ocean front; it was beautiful. The house is very nice and has very good accommodations. We would certainly return again if we ever return to St. Augustine. As my son-in-law said to me, "This is the best vacation ever that we have taken as a family." That says it all.

Great property

Stayed for the weekend of our son’s wedding, (which took place in downtown St. Augustine) with our adult children, our grandchildren and 87-yr old mother-in-law. The property suited our needs perfectly, with separate “apartments” upstairs & down. Quick walk to the beach, restaurants & putt-putt. The construction was loud the night we arrived but I messaged the host and the noise stopped shortly after. Very clean, had everything we needed the views from upstairs were gorgeous.

Love this house!

This was my second stay at this house and I will be back!!! It’s such a great location, great view, tons of room, fabulous back lawn, easy beach access and stocked with everything you need! We had 8 teenage girls and two adults celebrating my daughter’s sweet sixteen. The girls had plenty to do and space to hang out. They loved the beach and lawn, and they could safely walk to food and a bit of shopping. We also enjoyed the farmers market Saturday morning! Five stars!

Great for our large family!

This place was perfect for our 8 adults and 4 kids. We stayed here for a week. We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen and beach necessities. There were lots of living spaces for us to spread out. The house is clearly loved and well cared for. The walk to the beach was easy and the house is very centrally located. Some things to note: this is a very popular beach. Also, you have to walk through a bedroom downstairs to reach the kitchen/living area. We didn’t mind either of these things and had an amazing stay!

Great Location right on the Beach

My wife and I rented this property with our family of four. The house is large and spacious, well equipped, has beautiful decor and feels "fresh" We sat in the lounge room overlooking the ocean during an electrical storm out to sea. The lightning display was something to behold. The beach is on the doorstep and easily accessible. A short walk along the beach can be rewarded with a visit to the ice cream shop on the way back. A short ride into town and you get to explore the history of St Augustine and the many interesting restaurants We loved our stay and will certainly return again

The Beach House

When we arrived Nicole met us and gave us a tour of the house and gave us all the information we needed for our stay. My husband and I had all our children and grandchildren with us for six days.The house was clean and had ample room for everyone. The beach is a short walk over the sand and drive on the beach ramp is a block away. There are many restaurants and a grocery store nearby. My family had a great time and indicated that they would like the same place again. Steve and Nicole were great hosts.
