Welcome to Ferris Lodge, a spectacular summer house on the rugged Maine coast with a breathtaking view of the majestic Casco Bay islands. This century-old house has tremendous character and charm, with 5 bedrooms that comfortably sleeps 10. Located on beautiful Orrs Island, 20 minutes from Brunswick, home of Bowdoin College, and half hour from Freeport, home of outlets and L.L. Bean. The house is located at the end of a gravel road ensuring quiet and privacy. Has large front deck with sweeping view of ocean and umbrellas for shade when needed. A large, grassy front lawn connects to a path down to the shore to take a dip in the ocean, launch the kayak, collect sea glass, climb on the rocks, or skip stones. Dining room designed for hosting special meals, adjacent to a modern kitchen. Also has a back patio area with new grill, and a washroom with new washer and dryer. Stone fireplace in living room, next to a cozy study with books for all ages. A unique and very special property to rent.

I wanted to experience Maine and am so thankful to have stayed here!!! The house is beautiful and very well cared for and the views you get from the porch are like NO other!!! We saw lobstering boats, seals one day and many a beautiful sunrise while sipping our tea on the porch. It truly takes you away from the hustle and bustle and is truly a home away from home. Many great restaurants in the area and it is such a convenient location! Will DEFINITELY be returning to this piece of heaven on earth!
