SUMMARY:
Contemporary cape-style home located in the North Conway, NH area. There are 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths. Skylights in the upstairs bedrooms provide beautiful natural light; there is a large deck with a charcoal grill -- perfect for entertaining outdoors, along with the welcoming open floor plan indoors.. The home is fully-applianced, and includes cable TV and WiFi. There are also linens and towels provided.

DETAILS:
There is a private, sandy Saco River beach located just a short walk down the road, perfect for tubing, canoeing, kayaking, and swimming.

Echo Lake State Park, is just a short drive down West Side Road, and is another convenient, picturesque family-friendly swimming and picnic area.

There are backyard views of Mt. Stanton, with its hiking trails located just steps around the corner.

Attitash Mountain and its summer activities located less than a mile away.

The house is about a ten-minute drive north of North Conway's shopping, fine dining, and entertainment. Storyland also located just minutes away.

The first floor bedroom has a queen bed. There is a full bathroom with tub and shower on each of the 3 floors (including the finished basement). Upstairs, one bedroom has a queen bed, and a comfy reading chair which looks out to Mount Stanton. The second upstairs bedroom is ideally set up for parents with small children. It has a queen bed, two single beds, and plenty of bedtime storybooks. The full bathroom is located between the two bedrooms. There are skylights in each bedroom.

The finished basement-level adds another dimension to the living space for family get-togethers. The great room has its own kitchenette, dining area, and bath. There is a large TV and also a twin-sized trundle bed. There is a walkout to the grassy backyard.

The large deck with its charcoal grill is a great place to enjoy the sunshine in the afternoon, or to kick back and relax at the end of a fun-filled day!

The house has high speed internet (WiFi) and expanded cable TV services, for your enjoyment.

Nice place to stay. Only disadvantage is having to take trash. Dump station was not convenient timing so had to take four days of trash home with us. Also had to launder towels used.

Great house, great location

This was a perfect base. The upstairs rooms are really lovely and comfortable. The place is a short drive away from great places to visit and dine, had all that we needed to be comfortable for a few days, just make sure to bring your own shampoos and such.

Beautiful home

Family weekend to take my daughter at to Storyland. Lots of hiking, Diana's baths, echo Lake Park, and hiking. Neighborhood is beautiful, location is perfect. Very nice home, cozy, comfortable, and well accommodated.

Great house.

We had a great time in this home, the weather was bad but we made the best of it. The house had everything we needed, lots of space, games for the children. Good location, nice neighborhood. Donna is super nice and attentive. We would definitely recommend this house.

Beautiful & convenient to all our favorite places

What a great house: it's tucked into the woods so it feels secluded, but it's also so close to our favorite hikes, shopping, ice cream and restaurants. The neighborhood itself has both a river beach and a decent hike within walking distance from the house. The three levels of living space gave our family plenty of room to stretch out, and the layout of the home is very livable. We loved it.

Great Spot for a holiday

This was an excellent house to stay as it contained all the amenities needed, is well laid out as well a great location. The house is very clean, well maintained and spacious. You are within ten minutes walking distance to the river and loads of restaurants, stores, parks and walks are all within a relatively short driving distance. We didn’t have any problems with the house during our week there. The house does contain Wi-Fi and we had no issues with it during our stay. Overall we are very happy with our stay at the house and are already looking at dates for next summer. I definitely would recommend the house to anyone looking.

Nice cabin in the woods

House is what it states, serves the purpose we needed. Saco access was our priority and it delivered. Bring what your family needs - if you’re a paper plate family, bring paper plates. We aren’t ones to do dishes on our vacation. It’s enjoyable that the house has AC as we went up and it was HOT days, the room units kept the whole house comfortable. Expect some ants, as you are in the woods - but it’s nothing more then a few after the kids crumbs. Beds are comfortable, nice having a bathroom on each floor also. Would recommend and book again.

Comfortable Family Vacation Home

We very much enjoyed staying at this home! It was super clean, really great layout and bed/space situation. The in-law basement was perfect for grandma and the family bedroom was excellent for my family of 4. The first floor common space was super comfortable for everyone to spend time together. LOVE the mini splits everywhere! And first floor laundry! And entry way for dropping river shoes, beach bags, coolers, etc. The deck is great, as is the use of the grill - though we aren't the best charcoal grilling folks :) The neighborhood is so peaceful and scenic. The walk to the river wasn't too bad- the hill back up is something but very do-able with my two kids (7 and 11) Being able to walk to the river so easily was really nice. We had a lot of fun outdoor time! My only note would be about the trash situation - there's a dump that you need to bring your trash too and the hours and open days are kind of limited. We checked out on Sunday - the dump is closed on Sunday - so we would have had to go there on Saturday, but they close at 4 on Saturday and we were on a rafting trip until 3pm so we had to bring the trash home with us. If we were there for a full week we could probably work it into our time a bit better, but for a weekend we just couldn't make it work. I'd give the property 4.5 stars for the trash situation. Good stay. Some odd parts

Overall positives: comfortable bed, nice selection of cookware, after troubleshooting devices (luckily we are familiar with mini split quirks) temperatures were easily set to our preferences. Great location. Minus one star because: upstairs bedrooms only has sheer half curtains so became bright enough we were up at 530 with the sun, some of the check out requests were easily missed and/or odd. While they've posted you are responsible for your trash, they could be more clear as that means putting it in your car and driving it home or finding a dumpster because you can't bring it to their dump (you need to check out before the dump opens). Asking guests to restock paper goods and cleaning supplies, turn the water valve off on the washing machine, strip the beds and put all the sheets in the bathrooms (on the paperwork in the house) and in the washer (on the listing) is confusing and feels like a lot. Washing the towels if you use more than 4 in a house with bed for 10 is off base for me. So it was a nice stay, but you leave on an unpleasant note.

Great home for families!

My family and I stayed for 8 days and seven nights at this location and it was perfect for us! We traveled with three adults (71, 38, and 37) and two kids (3 and 6), and there was plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need and more, including a blender, crock-pot, coffee maker, spices, coffee filters, cleaning supplies, trash bags and paper towels. There are plenty of towels and linens. The house had puzzles galore in the living room. If you are traveling with young kids, just something to note is that there are no plastic dishes or cups and you might want to bring some toys or coloring from home. Also, the doors are all relatively easy to unlock, so you'll want to keep an eye on the kids so they can't wander! Also, if you are going to the Saco River beach, definitely bring bug spray... We learned that the hard way! The hosts were very communicative and responded very quickly via text anytime I reached out. This house is a gem and would highly recommend!

Fantastic getaway

My family and I enjoyed this wonderful house near the Saco. Beautiful hiking trails walking distance from the property, private river access down the road and close enough to everything modern but far enough away to feel like the middle of nowhere! Truly exceptional!

Saco river trip

It was a good set up for the 7 of us. 3 bathrooms were a plus. We went on the saco river tubing and went to zebs and also some shopping at the winery and outlets. The house was a good size for us and we were very comfortable. There was an issue with the refrigerator not closing properly. We had a great time. Thank you.
