Everything was top-notch at this location. The house was well stocked and comfortable. And the owners were very accommodating, friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
The house was fantastic- we especially loved how cozy it was and all the games that were available (especially the ping pong table)! The host was also very responsive and even decorated for Christmas after confirming we were there to celebrate that holiday, which was a great touch.
Everything was perfect. One additional suggestion from the perspective of a solo female traveler: Since the front door is secured only with a keypad, it would be great to have an interior deadbolt, security latch, or similar secondary lock that can only be engaged from inside. It would provide an extra layer of security and additional peace of mind for guests staying alone.
We have rented many places over the last 5 years, and this one by far is one of the best. The downstairs with a second kitchen, game room and living space, was a bonus to the wonderful living space on the main floor. The view of the lake, the dock, the wildlife, and 2 decks, all added to the well designed, comfortable, and unique experience. It rained most of the time, but we didn't care. We hope to go back.
