Just one caveat on the five star review. One of the bedrooms has a skylight that can’t be covered. In the Pacific Northwest, it can stay light until 10 PM and the sun comes up not long after four. It can make it difficult to sleep if someone is sensitive to light. Other than that, nice property that looks like the photos.

The location of this home was perfect for us and the view of the ravine was amazing. We watched the deer on the ravine at night and really enjoyed it! We appreciated the great communication of the host and their responsiveness to our request for a toaster. (There was none.) And coffee was furnished which is always a nice touch. I wish I could rate this a 5 star for those reasons but there were just some things that were not great. The walkways, skylights, patio and decks hadn't been blown off for some time, which resulted in us not using them because we would have tracked pine needles all over the house. 2 of the burners on the stove didn't work and neither did either fireplace. These weren't huge things but they detracted from what could have been a 5 star experience.
