Summer Wind has everything you want in a vacation home; beautiful spaces indoors, tons of outdoor living space, beautiful inground pool, and it's close to everything.

There are 3 bedrooms; one with two twins, one with a queen, and the master bedroom with a king. There is also a sofa sleeper in the living room. The floor plan of this home is a functional as it is beautiful, with a nice surprise around every corner. There is a kitchen island for four, plus a dining table for 4-6.

You will want to take time to enjoy the indoor and outdoor fireplace while relaxing at Summer Wind. Speaking of the outdoors, you will truly love the in-ground pool (open until May 22nd-Sep 30th), the screened gazebo and the outdoor kitchen, all set on a nice big lot.

Pet friendly home with yard fully fenced-in. This home is nicely situated, a short 10 minute drive to Michigan City Indiana, 10 minute drive to New Buffalo Michigan, and about a 10 minute walk, or 6-7 blocks, to the public beach in Michiana Shores.

**All Guests required to sign and return our Guest Occupancy Agreement.

**Minimum age of 30 years old to rent.

We enjoyed everything the property had to offer, we didn’t use the pool much, the water temp was pretty Chilly. Kitchen was perfectly supplied, really appreciated the spices. Loved the lighted gazebo area. We appreciate the bikes, wagon and other supplies that were in the shed. The large fenced in yard is as perfect for our dogs and young grandchildren to run around and play in

Great property. Pool was wonderful. The beaches nearby were are all closed due to erosion. The closest beach entrance was 1.5 miles away according to the neighbors, but we just drove to Warren Dunes, which was lovely. Overall, really nice property, but the beach 6 blocks away was closed.

Loved the outdoor space

The big yard, outdoor kitchen, screened patio and pool were wonderful. We spent all our time outdoors, so loved this space. The neighborhood is also great - we loved Michiana Shores. The inside space was clean, spacious and very accessible. The only thing that would make it better is if the outdoor furniture was updated a bit, but really, that was such a minor detail.

The house was lovely. It was everything my friends and I were looking for in a weekend away. It was clean and very private. The only complaint is the outdoor furniture for the pool didn’t have cushions and the pool cleaner came in the middle of our stay.

There is definitely outdoor furniture cushions. The renters did not check the pool house that has cushions as well as floaties, toys, etc. A great house with private pool!

Fantastic property that was vacation perfect

The house was beautiful, with all the little things thought of. Spacious, open floor plan, easy to follow property instructions, lots of TV movie options, board games, huge yard. We didn't get to use the pool or yard much, butIt was really cold when we were there, but I can imagine the place being spectacular in the warmer months. Very close to the lake, and plenty of space everywhere. We would definitely return!

Even better then anticipated

The property suited our needs even better than we expected from the photos. The interior was much more comfortable/spacious than we expected, the outdoor spaces were fabulous. The pool was clean and heated to a very comfortable yet refreshing temperature allowing for hours in the pool without chill. The pool house was well stocked with items to make the stay comfortable and fun. It was incredibly easy to communicate with the host, and responses were always prompt theoughout the booking process and stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Summer Winds, the yard and pool are great. However the property inside and outside need some updating. For example outdated furniture inside ( dirty old furniture). Outside screen house, patio and gutters need cleaning and updating. We enjoyed the area where the house is located. We plan on returning but would hope for some updates. Thank you very much. Odd encounter

Pro's: - beautiful house Cons: - pool was closed, which wasn't advertised ( advertised as place with a pool but then after booking said it was closed,- at that time my other options were already booked) - quiet hours weren't advertised as well..only after booking - annoying forms to fill out... stick with air b and b ..is way easier - expensive - grill was not clean/ no propane tank to use - rude management - outdated furniture outdoors - this place shouldn't be a rental property, it's beautiful but the neighbors are so close that you can literally hear everyone talking - not ideal if youre young and don't go to bed by 9 pm so you'll get a ton of noise complaints- probably more ideal for elderly people - I'm a healthcare worker and i came in late at night and woke up in the afternoon,- I get an aggressive call from management saying why didn't you pick up my calls. I said sorry I was sleeping and he immediately says that's what happens when you're up all night partying. That was so aggressive. First off you don't work for the neighbors and I paid for this place so I can sleep in especially when my job is so taxing. In fact I went to bed after coming in late and then slept in until 11 am. Then he says I'm think of evicting you because the neighbors complained. At this point im trying to figure out what happened because I wasn't up all night. It's so quiet here that you can literally hear two people talking outside in the backyard. My two friends were up talking and got noise complaints. Really not worth it if you're young and trying to catch up with friends this isn't the place for you. The next day I stayed up late and made sure everyone was extra quiet. Really not ideal especially when you're trying to relax and not trying to worry if the neighbors can hear you. Either way- management is just rude and aggressive. Seems like they work for the neighbors instead of you and don't know how to communicate professionally. The next time you get a noise complaint try not to jump down the renters throat immediately but have a professional conversation. Would not come back. Shame because the house is beautiful.

Our pool is advertised as being open "Mid-May." These guests came at end of April. For the record the group was having a loud party outside at 3am in which we received noise complaint for. This poor review left by guest is because we gave them a poor review and would never want them back.
