OVERVIEW

Camp#2 Weekly Rental (Saturday to Saturday)

Riverfront Cottage located near Clayton, New York on the St. Lawrence River.

There is a beautiful view of the main shipping channel and the sunsets are spectacular.

This cottage is ideal for couples, fishermen or small families.

This cottage will sleep five people with two bedrooms and a sofa in the living area. The cottage includes a stove, refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker
Basic Cable TV and Free WiFi are provided. Boat dockage is included.

Bed Linens, Blankets, pillows, and towels are not provided. Cooking pots, pans, dishes, cups, and silverware are not provided.

Dogs are allowed with owners approval and There is a pet fee.

There is a children’s playground and a small sandy beach.

Enjoy the fishing, boating, kayaking, or just enjoy relaxing by the river.

Close to all the area attractions, including Restaurants, Stores, Golf courses, Museums, Boat tours, Wineries etc.

Fishing trip

This is a perfect little cabin for my buddies and i to stay for a fishing vacation. Didnt have any problems during our stay and the owner was very responsive to any questions we had.

Awesome views of the St. Lawrence River

This is a peaceful and quiet setting which is exactly what we were looking for. Minutes from Clayton, Cape Vincent, and Alexandria Bay. Owners were accessable and friendly.

Great place to stay

Awesome view and location. Pet friendly was terrific. If I had one concern it would be the small bathroom but I would stay again. Owners were great. I highly recommend them.

Wonderful week!

The property and grounds are very clean and well kept. The smaller cabins are perfect 4 a couple and young family. The 2 larger ones are much roomier. We had a wonderful time,owners are good people and very accommodating. If you fish or boat you will love it here. Quiet, spectacular view. Thank you Larry and Lee, Gods Blessings

What an absolutely wonderful place!…. The cottage is small and is perfect for a couple or a small family.The views are incredible and the outdoor access is amazing. the owners have a row of Adirondack chairs right along the beach to sit and watch the ships go by ,watch the sunset, and enjoy water activities like swimming, boating, kayaking, and fishing. Downtown Clayton is absolutely picturesque along the water and it’s about a seven minute drive from the cottage. Alexandria Bay is less than 15 minutes away. tons of boat tours are available to explore the area and are very reasonably priced.The owners are so friendly and accommodating and will do everything to make your stay wonderfulwe have already booked our trip there for next year!

Sorry for your disappointment. Your review is our first bad review out of many 5 star and one 4 star reviews. That is a disappointment for us. We strive to provide clean, pleasant accommodations and if you read our reviews closely, you will see that we achieve these goals. The items that you mention in your review as missing are noted in our Vrbo listing. Even though you arrived without the items you would need, ie. Bedding, towels, blankets, dinning necessities. We hustled around and provided them to you, at no additional charge. In regard to your comment on the marina, it is listed as Vrbo suggested we list it. We provide free docking with electrical outlets to charge your batteries if you need to. Our Vrbo listing also states that we rent Saturday to Saturday and Check-in is 3pm and Check-out is 10 am. Yet you did not leave until around 4:30 pm We did not charge for that additional time. Our cleaning crew was not able to clean your camp. Lucky there was not someone else coming in that camp immediately.

Relax on the River

We really enjoyed our visit to the river. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The docking is a HUGE bonus! Watching the ships pass by is just magical. But what we enjoyed the most was meeting wonderful friends we’ll have for a lifetime.❤️ We can’t wait to return!

Relax on the River

Great location on the river to enjoy the water. Kayaking, boating, fishing, or just relaxing and watching the the big ships pass and the beautiful sunsets. Lynn and Mabel were the perfect hosts. The area is safe and great for a solo traveler. Centrally located, it's so easy to get to Clayton, Alex Bay and Wellesley Island. Thank you for a perfect getaway.

We were right between Clayton Ny and A Bay! Perfect for tourists! The owners, The Bretsch family were extremely hospitable and welcome! We loved the cottage and water front property/fire pit. Enjoyed the many ships going by in the channel. Swimming was awesome! Perfect place!!

This cottage was built in the early 1950's and has been in the family since. Current owners, Lynn, Lee and Larry obtained ownership in 2000 and with their wives Mabel, Marsha and Susan have been sharing responsibilities and hospitality since then. We truly enjoy our renters and sharing this beautiful area known as the Thousand Islands.
We strive to keep our cottages neat and clean. some of our renters have been staying with us since the 1950's and 1960's. Many of our renters have enjoyed staying with us for years and continue to come back and we enjoy having them.
