One of the closest communities to Walt Disney World (less than 3 miles away), Emerald Island Resort is a quiet oasis in which to spend your vacation. Emerald Island is an exclusive man gated resort community less than a mile from the world famous US Highway 192 where you will find shops, restaurants, and entertainment.

With an east facing rear aspect, you can enjoy spectacular sunrises from the extensive pool deck area, featuring a full width lanai, private pool and SPA. The home benefits from hardwood flooring throughout the second level, title and hardwood flooring on the first level, corian counter-tops in the kitchen together with cultured marble vanities in all bathrooms. There is also a multi-jet Jacuzzi type tub in the Master Bedroom en-suite. It provides all the amenities making your stay comfortable like a home away from home. It features a family room with two story high cathedral ceiling and a living room. There are two set of dining tables. Perfect for your big group.

The villa has two master en-suites (one is on the second floor and the other on the first floor) with two king size beds with a full size crib and its own large private bathroom, one additional king bedroom, two queen bedroom, three more guest rooms with twin beds, and two fold-able beds. It comfortably sleeps up to 18 people. It is managed locally so you always have someone to call on in case of a problem.

High speed, wireless internet access, cable TV, free long distance calls within US are available for your convenience. You can enjoy watching your favorite program on TV in Family Room and all bedrooms.

A fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare for a family feast or a quick snack. You and your family can enjoy your meal in the two formal dining tables seat up to 12 or at pool side patio set under the huge lanai.

Nice property at a great location

This house was perfect for our large group and in a great location. Two of the bedrooms are on the first floor which was needed to accommodate two guests with limited walking capabilities. Great location, beautifully decorated, lots of rooms and owners are easy to communicate with.

Great house - would stay again

This house has so much room! It’s easy to get to and close to hwy 192. The house shows a little wear and tear but nothing to complain about. The bed I slept in was more comfortable than a lot of rentals I’ve used.

Family Reunion

Amazing location. My large family of 15 had an amazing time. Rooms had nice accommodations. Pool was nice after our long days at the theme parks. Nice that the house was in the mist of all the attractions but tucked away so as to not have to deal with the hassle. I would definitely rent this place again. Host was responsive and was accomidating.

Nice!

Our family of 12 had plenty of room and we were very comfortable! It’s about a 15 minute drive to Disney parks, but it wasn’t bad at all. The neighborhood was quiet and there was a park right across the street from the house so that was great for my two year old nieces. The pool and hot tub were a big hit with the older kiddos as well!

Great location, villa could use some TLC

Really great location, very easy to get to Disney parks and local restaurants and shops. The information sent by the owners for access to Emerald Isle resort was wrong, they gave us a gate code and the property has not used a gate code in over a year, we had to pay $20 per vehicle and register each vehicle with the resort. The house was fine, beds were comfortable but the furniture and interior paint could use some updating. Overall we had a good stay.

The resort just started using a new guest registration. Resort (not owners) charges $20 per car. It has been always there. We do not like it but it's the resort's decision - not our fault.

Four Generations of Love

The property fitted our families needs. The problems we had were no big deal. I figured COVID19 was probably a contributing factor. The house could definitely use some updating. For such a large group that prefers to cook and eat together, there were not enough large cookware and not enough outside table and chairs, again, that did not affect our vacation. We had a wonderful time. Thank you for allowing our family to use your property.

Ann/ Gary were very quick to respond every time. We had an issue with pool heating so we couldn't use it. Manager never responded. however, after emailing owners, response was quick as always and a refund for the pool heating fees was granted. Great owners, managers, not so great. Yet we had a great experience. Definitively would go back.

Several things were wrong with this house, when contacting the owner and property manager it took several days to get the pool heated, but nothing else was even looked at. There were bugs, broken glass hanging over beds, bathrooms didn’t lock, damaged walls in every room, mold, zero mention of paying to park, etc. by far the worst experience I have had staying at installs islands, and put a bad reputation for a nice area.

The furniture was so old in the living room, too afraid to sit on sofa, had pillows under the pillows to hold it up. The game room was a hazard, pool table had a big split,barely standing up. Had to wash all linens before going to sleep. No household cleaning items to start with. The house was a overall disaster. Furniture look like it was found on the side of the street and placed in house. For a quick rent.

Unfortunately i was very disappointed in this house. The furniture made me feel like i was in a fraternity house. Once in the couch you can't get out. Bedding was stained and bring your own sheets! They were so old. In fact bring everything. House simply isn't inviting. Pool table is a joke. One short pool cue. Hot tub was to be heated but was not the entire week and had to argue to get my money back. Great location for Disney. That was the bright point. Short Uber ride and great neighborhood with a park across the street. Very basic home with lots of basic beds.

Don't believe the reviews

We were a bit worried about the reviews! If you are looking for luxury, this isn't it. However, it is a beautiful property that is able to accommodate large groups. We felt it could use a deep cleaning, but it was clean enough and we are aware we are visiting during a cery demanding time. Yes, the furniture is a bit run down and pool table is torn (didnt bother our kids...but if you are a pool shark it might)....but proves it is a popular spot to stay. The pool was fantastic after hot days at the parks, but in reality the kids would have been jusy as happy to stay and swim all day! Location is phenomenal and size of house made us feel like we each had a space to run to and rest. I went in with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. I did inquire about the reviews and got no response, but again I review the homes we choose based on our own experience. This home went above our expectations and we would choose to stay here again!
