It is a quick drive to Pebble Beach golf courses and a beach bike ride to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Walk just beyond your front porch to Lovers Point, one of the most desirable beaches on the bay with the beautifully restored Victorian Bath House Restaurant; wading pool; kayak, surfboard and bike rentals; jogging & bike path and sheltered white sand for sunbathing. Nature is at your doorstep as sea otter sightings and exploring tide pools are typical daytime activities. At sunset, grab a glass of wine, sit by the fire and enjoy the ocean view.

This Pueblo Revival styled beach bungalow is blocks from historical downtown Pacific Grove with its quant shops, restaurants, coffee houses, parks, library, museum and more.

Peaceful and beautiful reality

We loved every minute of our stay in this beautiful home. The kitchen and bathroom have everything you need, and we loved sitting by the window, looking out at the water, and enjoying our coffee and breakfast. The house is very large, and private, and the backyard patio is especially cute and private. The furniture and decor is classy, and the hosts were also wonderful and thoughtful. Thank you for making our honeymoon so memorable!

Absolutely charming

The property is very well stocked with essentials and very clean. The view from the living room of the ocean was spectacular. The layout is a little odd, as mentioned in the listing because to access the bathroom from the master bedroom you have to go

This was the perfect place to get away

After several stressful weeks as a homeschooling mom of 3 and a husband who had extensive travel at the beginning of the year, I needed a BREAK - by myself! My husband found me this wonderful place on the ocean and I was sold - it was even better than the pictures! I loved the character of this old home, the way they hung the paintings using the crown molding, the vintage furniture (which was very comfortable!) and the many other nods to the period when the house was built. I spent each night with the fireplace on, cozied up on the couch watching a movie... and each morning eating breakfast at the table watching the ocean. I walked to dinner, walked to Monterey, and just stood at the ocean. It was exactly what I needed to feel refreshed and restored. Lastly, it felt very safe. I had no worries staying by myself and felt safe and secure the entire time. The host was accessible and helpful and I knew if I had any issues I could contact him. I would definitely recommend!!

I grew up on the Monterey Peninsula and always wanted to share my amazing childhood memories with my family. Now as an adult, visiting has become so much more. This beach house is our escape from the city and connection to nature.

Why they chose this property

We love the untouched, historical nature of Pacific Grove. But truly the seaside location was key for us... We explore the tide pools looking for interesting creatures, jog along the shoreline trail and, well, everyone from this area has a least one family member who plays golf! Shopping for antiques and eating somewhere interesting are also factored into the day.
