Updated in 2018, Spacious 1800sq ft 3BR 2.5BA Trappers Lodge condo with stunning views overlooking the Summit Village ski slopes at Shanty Creek Resort. We include free Pool pass and Beech Club Pass. Great location walking distance all the resort amenities, dining and bars, not to mention the amazing Golf Courses. This condo is very well equipped with the furnishings. Recent updates included carpet, new appliances, furniture, flat screen TVs, mattresses, deck, and artwork. Bring your friends, as you'll have plenty of space to accommodate them with 1800 square feet of living space. The vaulted ceilings, a natural stone fireplace and awesome sunset views, make this a welcoming place to stay. Best of all, you can enjoy the Shanty Creek Beach Club on beautiful and sandy Lake Bellaire. and Take the shuttle ride to and down town Bellaire and to Shuss Mnt Ski Hill, Dinning, Movies, And Shorts Brew Pub. Please check with the Resort for open ski runs and conditions we are not in control of the resort.

We had a great time and it was the right size for our party of 8. The A/C ran great, the water pressure was good, and the kitchen worked out great. You will see amazing sunsets also. I would definitely re-book when we come back.

Bellaire, you'll love it!

Everything was great about the location and the condo. We had never been to Northern Michigan and this was a great spot to stay and then be able to drive to many great places. You're not far from Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes or Charlevoix and Petoskey and Torch Lake is super close. And the little town of Bellaire is also great. Shorts Brewing is the place to go. Shanty Creek resort is also very nice and has great views and a great pool and lots of golf. Communication with Dale was top notch. Thanks!!!

False Advertisement 2021

Sadly, either COVID-19 or environmental conditions caused the mountain and lift directly behind the property to be closed for the 2021 season. Even if it typically is open, I feel the owner should have updated the listing to state this, as we specifically chose it so we wouldn't have to lug our 4 kids under the age 7 with their gear to ski. The drive to the areas that were open wasn't terrible, but from the parking lot to the lift area with little ones was what we were trying to avoid. The condo itself could use just a little TLC from the owner to easily make it a 5: 1) Light bulb in upstairs bath was out. 2) Fireplace was full of ash. 3) Many of the plates and nearly all of the silverwear and knives were dirty (but in the cabinets). 4) The cookware seemed to be random assortment and needed an audit and a little organization. The unit itself was plenty spacious for 2 families with young kids with a good size dining table and ample space in the living room to play. The view from the patio was gorgeous. Bedding was comfortable. We didn't use the TVs in the bedrooms, but it appeared that another guest took the Roku stick in one of the rooms making it inoperable.

We enjoyed the condo it was very spacious and clean. The kitchen had lots of supplies so we didn’t need to run to the store for the basics. The thermostat being controlled off site was a bit of a struggle the condo temp didn’t regulate well the main floor got chilly when trying to cool down the upstairs. Thankfully there were movable fans and blankets to use. We loved the pool and beach access and being so close to Bellaire.

We enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room, it was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The condo is in a central location if you plan on visiting several places. We did Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Torch Lake, Mackinac Island and Fishtown.

Beautiful Treetop Stay

Shanty Creek was beautiful and the condo was clean with comfortable beds! We loved the views and being able to walk to amenities on the property and the proximity to other day trip locations, i.e Kayaking in Bellaire, Torch Lake, Traverse City, Bear Dunes and Mackinac Island!Dale was great to work with and was attentive to texts with questions.

Fabulous Weekend

We absolutely loved our stay. The layout was great. Lots of space. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a couple breakfasts and we love the location. Nice walk to the Shanty bar or up to the Summit.

Great ski weekend

This Condo was perfect for a family ski weekend. Lots of room on the first floor, wood-burning fireplace to make you feel cozy after a long day of skiing. Pool/hot tub just a short walk from the condo. Dale was great to communicate with. We would definitely come back.

Up North Michigan

We had a great time and are very glad that we chose to stay at this condo! The owner was super easy to work with and answered all of our questions quickly, he even let us know right away that the internet had gone out and that it was being restored as quickly as possible.
