The cottage is very attractive and clean. We didn't do any cooking aside from using the microwave but the kitchen was well equipped. The hosts were very attentive and kept in touch during our stay. We highly recommend this rental, located in a very picturesque and interesting community.
This little cottage was perfect! It is a wonderful location, is clean, charming, and the hosts have anticipated every need and added a few extras to make your stay special. We would definitely stay here again.
Staying at the Cottage was perfect for our Maine vacation. Centrally located to Bar Harbor, Acadia, Bangor &the Coasr, perfect for day trips.
Becky and Bill were wonderful hosts. The best was finding coffee & cream upon arrival q
I stayed 4 nights at the cottage, part time with a friend and part time with my family. Very comfortable inside, clean and ample room for preparing food in the kitchen. There is a lovely deck and gardens in the back. The cottage seemed very private even though it was walking distance to the village and shops, library, hiking trails, music school and galleries. It was a good base for exploring the area by car as well. we loved it!
We were looking for a home away from home and found it. Becky and Bill were so helpful with a list of local must sees catered to our interests. They were avalible without being invasive. The town of Blue Hill is quaint, quiet and beautiful. The pictures of the cottage capture the charm perfectly. We would definitely stay again.
The cottage was very private, comfortable and clean. The couch and bed are SUPER comfy!! Back yard is nicely landscaped . I enjoyed watching the deer daily and even a few hummingbirds were still hanging around. Hosts provide everything you need and some very nice extras! Thank you!! I wouldn’t hesitate to book again and would highly recommend to family and friends.

If I could take it home and live in it, I WOULD!
Cottage on Parker Point is probably my best Homeaway/VRBO experience to date. Roomy, comfortable bed, full kitchen, wonderful backyard and porch. Easy walk to downtown Blue Hill with art gallerys across the street and espresso around the corner.

Melissa, you were awesome! We were lucky to have you!! We hope you’ll come back again!! B&B
My wife and I had a great time. We were looking for a quiet place to relax, read and use as a home base to hike and see the fall foliage. The cottage is extremely well stocked and the owners are very responsive to anything you need. They saw we were getting in late and left us breakfast supplies. Really clean cute place. The bed was very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.
The owners have made this cottage a gem of a place to stay. They have stocked it with extra toiletries, snacks, etc. It is clean with well-kept accessories. If we ever get back to Blue Hill, I will try and stay at this cute cottage.
Cottage is perfect for 2 people. Had everything we needed. Everything very comfortable. And beautifully decorated. Becky and Bill were very friendly. Basic toiletries provided. Fridge stocked with breakfast staples. Blue Hill is a quaint little Maine town. Will definitely return and would love to stay at the cottage.
The cottage was absolutely perfect for my stay in Blue Hill. It was well appointed, with comfy couch, bed, closet space, and well equipped kitchen. Nicely decorated and it truly felt like home. On a very quiet road. The Goulds were delightful hosts, leaving me fresh chocolate chip cookies, and sharing a piece of their scrumptious family birthday cake. It was hard to leave, and I left feeling as though the Goulds are family.

Charming comfortable cottage. Great location.
We were completely charmed the minute we walked into this light-filled, delightful space. The owners have done a great job of creating a lovely cottage with everything one could need. The bed is comfortable, the back deck is a lovely spot for dinner or a glass of wine and the kitchen is well-equipped. We enjoyed exploring the Blue Hill area - and being able to walk for coffee or dinner was great. Also took a wonderful day trip for a hike in Acadia. Owners live next door and were attentive to our needs but never intrusive. We would definitely book again if we make our way back to Maine.

Blue Hill cottage
My husband and I stayed at this lovely cottage for 4 nights during our trip to Maine. We road our motorcycle from Wisconsin. By the time we hit Maine we were getting a bit beat up by the weather, etc. I messaged Becky to see what I should do when we arrive - she said "Just relax". And that we did! It is so peaceful of a place. Perfect for our stay and home base for our daily travels. I would like to thank you for sharing your cottage, say "hi" to your brother, and when we head back your way we would love to stay again. Thanks again!

A delightful place with great facilities. We had a wonderful stay and Bill and Becky were so helpful with local information. Would highly recommend this place
This Blue Hill cottage is not just a lodging, it’s a destination! Becky has created a little sanctuary for her guests with great attention to detail. The bedding is lush and comfortable, and the small living room is cozy and inviting. There is a full kitchen, and Becky is kind enough to provide some amenities and snacks. We so enjoyed our first night in the cottage that we extended our stay! There is an outdoor patio with bistro table to enjoy your morning coffee in a peaceful setting. After breakfast, take a walk into town. We found Blue Hill a darling town and enjoyed our time there. We can’t wait to return.
What a fab place, cosy comfortable with some interesting design features. Well equipped kitchen , comfy seating and a bed to die for. Great host, great location all anybody could ask for.

Thank you so much for the rave review ! We strive to make the cottage a home away from home! The bed seems to be the magic bullet!
It doesn't get better than this delightful cottage in Blue Hill. Pure delight. Quiet, super comfortable, and walkable to your first morning cup of coffee or stack of pancakes. The Blue Hill Public Library is only steps away: free membership, so leave the clunky books behind. My second stay: and I will be back! Highly recommended. Hosts Bill and Becky could not be more generous or accommodating. Pros!
It was all good.
Everything met or exceeded our expectations. This sweet, cute cottage was very comfortable and the owners made sure we had everything we could want. The treats, snacks and drinks were very thoughtful and appreciated.
Thank you so much.
We stayed here for 3 nights, near the end of a long “road trip”! The Cottage was perfect for the two of us and nearby to little shops and a laundry, which we took advantage of! Check out the town COOP for fresh produce, teas etc... which is caddy corner to the laundry.
We really only saw Becky the first day when we arrived later than expected, but everything was set up waiting for us.
The cottage is about a 40 minute drive to Acadia/Bar Harbor area, but worth the quiet, unless you count the ducks squabbling in the morning down the street!
Thank you Becky for everything! We will have to make it a longer stay next time!

About the host
Hosted by Becky and Bill Gould
My husband Bill and I will be your hosts. We moved here to Blue Hill in 2018 from Maryland. As a child I came to Maine every summer since my mothers family was here. We also have a cottage on the Penobscot Bay about 30 minutes from Blue Hill that has been in my family since the 1940's. We love it here and are excited for our guests to experience the coast of Maine Becky
Why they chose this property
The Cottage and our house are in the heart of Blue Hill Villiage. We love being close to all the down town activities. We are two doors from the beautiful Blue Hill libary where they have speakers and other weekly activities year round. We are also walking distance to restaurants, stores, coffee shops the grocery store and a couple of the Blue Hill Heritage Trust trails.
What makes this property unique
Since our guests spend most of the days out exploring Acadia Park or wandering around nearby towns, we took extra care in making the bed as comfortale as possibe. From crisp LLBean sheets and a cozy down comforter to differnt pillows to choose from I(almost) guarentee a good night sleep!
