It was very nice! I didn't really expect the houseowners to be there but the listing does say it's in their basement so that makes total sense and didn't interfere with our stay. The laundry machines were blocked off from another room with temporary walls so I was worried about noise traveling but I didnt notice any. The property owners were also very nice and answered our questions.

The entry way was not lit at night. The path going down was very hard for my sister who is in a cast, uneven and slippery. Couch was not comfortable. Couldn’t figure out how to lock the door.

The entryway light can be turned on from inside the unit. To lock the door, simply hold the lock button. The unit it not meant for those who have mobility issues as it is down a short path in the lower level of our home.

We’re Missouri natives who love time with family and friends. Chrissy is a teacher and Chuck is retired from law enforcement. We’ve been married since 1989. We enjoy travel, dining out, listening to music, and watching the Kansas City Chiefs.

Why they chose this property

We live in the upper level of the house, so we know a lot about the neighborhood. We enjoy our neighbors. Everyone is friendly and hardworking. We have a Dollar General close by and also the famous Fox and Bull baking company. Both are located with a 1/2 mile of the apartment. Located 3 miles away to the west is the Red Bridge area with Minor Park, Wonderscope Children’s Museum, The Red Bridge Shopping Center is also 3 miles away with a grocery store, CVS, restaurants and small shops. One of the best features is our proximity to the interstate system in KC. This puts us within 10 minutes of the Chiefs and Royals, St, Joseph Hospital, and the Overland Park Convention Center.

We are meticulously clean, launder and sanitize all bedding after each stay. Our mid-century home will remind you of grandma’s house with all the conveniences of city living. You’ll love the neighborhood that is conveniently located near the suburbs of Grandview and Leawood.
