Terrible odor

When the heat comes on a terrible smell liken to the smell of a dead mouse(s) is released. The smell was so bad several of the family members left the first night. When I called the owner he told me that he asked the cleaning crew about the odor and they said that it was ok. Question why would he ask. We could put up with the broken toilet seat, the gas fireplace that would not lit, the leaky coffee pot, the broken toilet handle and on and on but the odor was the worst. I would not recommend staying at this home..

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and we wanted to share the following: - The owner reached out to the cleaning team to inquire about the odor since they were the last ones in the home before your arrival. - The cleaners didn't notice an odor before your stay or after your departure. - The owner checked and confirmed that the fireplace is in great working condition, as well as the toilet seat and coffee pot. We're confident this home will continue to host many happy travelers!

Great cabin within 20 minutes of Mt Snow and close to Wilmington. My family and I had a blast. Thanks so much.

Disappointing

Fireplace did not work and it was supposed to be fixed before we left but it never was. Dryer did not dry clothes. I had to clean the lint trap with the vacuum several times before there was enough air flow to dry the clothes. It had obviously not been cleaned in a long time. Kids bedroom was filled with ladybugs and water pressure in shower was weak. We were disappointed during this stay. We have used VRBO on numerous occassions and have always been extremely happy.

Additionally, the water pressure was the result of an issue the association had at the time of your stay. The lint trap in the dryer has been cleaned prior to your stay, but we're sorry for the inconvenience it caused.
