Enjoy a barrel sauna, hot tub, gas and wood-burning fire pits, and a cold plunge — from sunrise mist to sunset glow.

✨ THE VIEW ✨

The heart of the property is its panoramic view: the Shenandoah Valley, Shenandoah River, and Mountain Lake sprawl for miles endlessly. Watch morning fog roll in, catch dramatic sunsets, and stargaze at night — all from the deck.

🛏️ BEDS & BATHS 🚽

Three cozy bedrooms with plush bedding and curated décor, plus two full bathrooms — both updated for comfort and cleanliness. There's also a futon suitable for one adult or two kids.

♨️ DECKS + HOT TUB + SAUNA ♨️

Out front, a 432 sq. ft. second-story deck features a private hot tub and concrete gas fire pit overlooking the valley. Enjoy morning coffee or evening wine with the view. Around back, unwind in the cedar barrel sauna.

🪵 FIRE PIT + PLUNGE 🛀

Also facing the view is a wood fire pit with seating and provided logs, plus a steel tank plunge — great for kids to splash in or for use as a traditional cold plunge.

🛋️ INSIDE 📺

Two open-concept living spaces with vaulted ceilings, cedar beams, and mountain-modern furnishings. A fully stocked kitchen including a waffle maker, food processor, blender, pots & pans, etc., handles everything from pancake breakfasts to full dinners. High-speed Wi-Fi and smart TVs included.

New! Full-house climate control installed for year-round comfort — cool on the hottest summer day, cozy on the coldest winter night, and comfortable every day in between!

This is a beautiful property that was perfect for our girls weekend trip. We had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing time in the evening. We went to nearby Hillsborough Winery then came back to enjoy the hot tub and fire ring on the deck with a breathtaking view. It was clean and exactly as described!

Our group of 5 stayed just one night. Was a friend's 50th. We did some local stuff and then wanted to retreat to the "Iconic Chalet". Upon arrival, the house was hot, the hot tub was cold, the plunge was empty, the fire pit had no propane. There was an amazing view of the sunset that would have been so much better if we could have enjoyed it by a fire or in the hot tub or through clean windows (the windows were dirty). The owners were responsive to my messages but that didn't change the facts on the ground. The consensus of the group was that this was way too pricey to not be luxury accommodations. The cleaning fee for just a one-night stay was 195. An extremely large amount (more than 1/3 of the entire booking)--especially since we did a lot of cleaning ourselves. It was a bust.
