This charming house couldn't be better located for North Lake Tahoe enjoyment. For winter fun, drive or take transit to Northstar or Diamond Peak 10 minutes away. If you are looking for one of Tahoe's best lakeshores, look no further then Speedboat Beach, a short southerly walk away from the house through quiet residential streets. For the more excitable, walk the other direction for the Crystal Bay Club & Casino, Cal Neva, Biltmore and Mellow Fellow Bar. Tahoe's finest food and entertainment can be found here in Crystal Bay and Incline Village. The house has 1 bedroom on the main level, and a large loft/bedroom on the second level. The home can comfortably sleep 4 people in beds. It has a king bed in master and two twins upstairs. The home can be cozy and romantic for two or family/friend friendly for 4. Lots of floor space so the home does not feel cramped at all. The kitchen is open and accommodating with quaint sitting area for 4-5. Gas BBQ grill on the back deck is available and a must in the summer. The backyard is great for kids, lots of space on a mostly level lot.

Quick and easy communication with Ryan. The home is obviously well cared for. The cleaners do a really good job! We walked to the nearby beach with our paddle board backpack, perfect location. Home had everything we needed. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
We really enjoyed our 11-night stay around Christmas/New Year holidays. The cabin is well stocked and has everything a family would need for a comfortable vacation. It's located 5 minutes away from Safeway and restaurants in King's Beach and 7 min away from Raley's and restaurants in Incline Village.
My husband and I came down for our 14th wedding anniversary. This was the perfect place for our stay. The property was in a great location, it was quiet and cozy. We would definitely stay again.
We had a fantastic time at the lake tahoe cabin. The cabin was a great place for our family to stay for a fun week at lake tahoe. The cabin is in walking distance to a small beach and with in driving to many fun things to do on the lake.
We really enjoyed our time here and would stay again. The house had everything we needed for an extended stay for my wife and I. I think it would also be great for a family of 4 to explore the area. It was a great central location to explore from. Comfortable and well maintained. Would recommend.
Very nice , well maintained home. The Bathroom and Kitchen were tastefully done And updated to make your stay enjoyable. Home was very clean and communication with owner easy. Great get away to the north shore.

Great family retreat
My family greatly enjoyed our stay here. The house was impeccably clean when we arrived and everything was thoughtfully furnished for our stay. The kids loved having the upstairs to themselves. The kitchen was well appointed and a pleasant family gathering spot. Central location worked well for a variety of winter activities from skiing to sledding, and the large yard was also fun for staying put.
This was a wonderful getaway. I was surprised at how quiet it with a casino that close. Loved that they lad GOOD shampoo and conditioner and body wash in the shower. As a flyers there is only so much I could bring on the plane. Would stay again if I come back.
We were pleasantly surprised by the interior of the home when we checked in, the photos in the listing don't do it justice! Had all the things we needed for a small family of 4, but we could have benefitted from a window AC as it was very hot even with the provided fans and fan we brought from home. The shower could have been cleaner but overall a really great stay with close proximity to North Tahoe. Speedboat Beach was fantastic, get there early because the water level is so high there's very limited space on the sand. Would stay here again!
This is a very cute cottage right on the Cal/Nev line, with easy access to both Incline Village and Kings Beach. The host was responsive to any queries we had. The yard is very large with a fair amount of privacy. The kitchen is nicely equipped but there are some missing items in my opinion. My only wish was that there was a view of the lake.

Comfortable, Clean and Updated
Beautiful home in a convenient location close to restaurants, shopping and casino. We enjoyed the short walk to Speedboat Beach and the stroll through the neighborhood. The loft area was a great place for the kids to stay. The large yard was a great place to BBQ and watch the stars come out. Overall the stay was a great experience. Although, there was some noise from the Crystal bay Club parking lot to the rear.
The house was even better than the pics. The surrounding property was lovely and spacious and good for my friend’s 6 year old to play. Close to a family friendly beach. Only suggestions: some extra towels and another fan or two. It cools down at night but still stays warm upstairs.
Home was very clean and have no complaints. Unfortunately the area that immediately backs up to the home is made up of old historical casinos that are closed down . Backyard view is a parking structure that is somehow tied to the two small casinos still in business.
A very comfortable and cozy stay; a home away from home with all the typical creature comforts one could want. Ryan the owner was super friendly and easygoing and attentive to our needs and wants. One note, if you stay in the winter, I recommend an all or 4 wheel drive vehicle as the street is on a slight slope and ices over at night with a couple inches of snow, and our front wheel drive Mini with good tires couldn't make it up the street in the morning to go skiing without chains which are a hassle.
Ryan was very helpful and responded to all my questions quickly. The house was very comfy and more spacious than it appears in photos. The heated floors and gas stoves were especially nice to keep us warm. The yard is large and the location near Speedboat Beach was great. We walked to the beach for the sunset. We spent a week in the house and played in the snow in the yard, played board games, cooked meals, and watched movies on the Apple TV. Overall we had a wonderful stay. The only improvement I can think of is some sharper knives and newer pans would be nice. Thanks, Ryan!
Great Location (maybe mention it's the first house on the left at the corner would be helpful)! Easy access in and out.
A small cozy place to park for a few days, chill in the back yard with a glass of wine, and relax at the end of a day hiking. Everything was laid out well. Kitchen and bathroom were great.
One comment - flagstone steps were a bit loose which could be a trip hazard for older folks. Bathroom could use a few more hooks or towel bars.

Great Tahoe cottage
Beautiful, updated, interior to the property! I came to Tahoe for a conference/trails and was hardly in the house, but it was great when I was. I appreciated that it was completely safe and across from the Fire Station. Be sure to take advantage of the Crystal Bay Overlook hike and the walk down to Speedboat without ever having to drive anywhere. It's also a short run/bicycle down to King's Beach where there is grocery/food. Not far drive to Truckee (Truckee Winery, Donner Creek,LOTS of restaurants), Burton Creek State Park (GREAT for trail running), Mt. Rose (a must) Incline Beach, Spooner Lake/Flume/Marlette Creek. Beautiful home and perfect size for 1-2 people or a smaller family.

Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
Location Location Location
While the cabin was charming, the location was not. The area is so run down and looks depressing. The north view is a three story crumbling parking garage. The west view is a fire station. The southwest view the chain link around the dilapidated Cal Neva resort. The old Biltmore is also boarded up. Crystal Bay Area is terrible. It was so bad we left early.

About the host
Hosted by Ryan
My wife and I bought this house in 2013. We have always loved the location that this house stands and we couldn't resist the opportunity to buy in one of Tahoes' most charming neighborhoods. This neighborhood has so much history its unbelievable. Celebrity's like Sammy Davis Jr. Marilyn Monroe, Howard Hughes and the like have either stayed or owned homes in the area.
Why they chose this property
The property is impeccably clean and well maintained. It features hardwood floors throughout the entire home. It pairs old fashion comfort with new world charm. Not to be redundant but the location is stellar. It has to mentioned again and again. It's walking distance to beaches, trails, restaurants, bars, music, casino's and more. Not to mention a short drive to popular ski resorts like Northstar, Diamond Peak and Mt. Rose.
What makes this property unique
Lakeside of N. Lake Tahoe Blvd. Walk to the lake through a quiet neighborhood. The community alone is worth a look to see some of Tahoe's most famous homes. Enjoy all the splendors of Tahoe's beauty while also having the option to walk to the casino's or grab a bite to eat down the road. This location is unmatached.
