We enjoyed a quick visit in July and the home didn't feel like a rental...more like we were staying at a friend's place. Clean, fully equipped, cool, & spacious - everything we needed! Would definitely recommend and considering staying again.

Our family fun and memories started when we pulled up to Sea Glass Cottage and saw that it was already decorated for the 4th of July celebration. The cozy front porch was used daily for morning coffee and in the evening was shaded for a nice reading area. The kitchen was very well stocked, and the grill supplies (including meat thermometer) were very helpful. The coffee/tea station was easy and convenient. The master bedroom, bath, and large closet was comfortable. We were able to lay all our clothes out to easily grab the attire for the next event.Being there for the USA's 250th Birthday festivities worked out better than we could have expected. The view of the fireworks in Stone Harbor, Avalon, and cities further north and south were visible from the top deck. It looked like the best seat to the show, Many photos of the sunsets from the top deck. The "Sea Glass" name, decorating theme, included books about sea glass, created conversations and research. It turns out my 10-year-old granddaughter has been collecting sea glass and reading the history. She did find more sea glass while on the beach.Location for us was just right for us. That section of beach is the least crowded we have been to on the Jersey shore, The access to the beach is directly across the street. I need to get one of the beach carts that was supplied. It had a cooler pouch, room for toys, towels and the beach chairs stack right on it. The kids were very pleased to not have to carry supplies.

Our family of six had an absolutely perfect stay at this beautiful beach house in Avalon! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The house was incredibly cozy, comfortable, and welcoming—exactly what we were hoping for in a family beach getaway. The location truly couldn't be beat. Being directly across the street from beach access made our days so easy and relaxing. The host included beach tags, chairs, a beach cart with cooler, toys and more! After a perfect beach day, it was so easy and convenient to jump in the outside shower and get ready for the evening. We loved being just about a mile from the center of town. It was the perfect distance to enjoy all the wonderful shops, restaurants, and entertainment Avalon has to offer while still having a peaceful retreat to come back to. It made it so easy to have the perfect beach vacation! The host has truly thought of everything. Every amenity we could possibly need was provided, making our stay completely stress-free. The home was well-stocked, thoughtfully organized, and equipped with all the comforts that made it feel like a home away from home. In addition, everything was clean and like new. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation. Everything about the trip was perfect, and this beach house played a huge role in making it so memorable. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect Avalon beach getaway!
