This, charming house provided a wonderful getaway. We loved the unique decor and antique items throughout. It is close enough to unique shops like Richardson’s Chocolates, and the many breweries and restaurants in Deerfield, but secluded enough to enjoy birdsong while reading in the garden. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The owners were communicative, answered our questions quickly, and was very accommodating.

Our stay was a quiet, beautiful, detailed reconstruction of a historical colonial home. The house itself was a deeply engaging educational experience for our children as well as a welcoming hearth for family gatherings and hosting a fun getaway for our Massachusetts family. We loved it. Absolutely beautiful and quaint. This stay achieves historical appeal while still providing the modern amenities that create a comfortable long term stay. Our hosts were delightful and accommodating with clear communication. We will stay again as a family vacation staple.

I don't usually write reviews but the owners of this property went above and beyond. They made sure that the outside lights up the walkway to the house were turned on for us as well as the AC units so the house was nice and cool when we arrived. They didn't miss a beat and had everything there that you could need, down to toiletries that you might have forgotten. The kitchen was well stocked with 2 coffee makers, toaster and microwave and assorted K-cup coffees, chocolates, wine,... The pull out couch that our party used was comfortable when most pull outs are not. The bedding was soft and comfortable. The site was close to town 12-15 minutes. There were chickens on the property but they were very quiet - you didn't even know they were there unless you walked by to look at them. The main thing that we enjoyed was the outdoor space with the well lit dart board and bonfire area. They supplied firewood and starter materials, chairs, and plenty of space to hang out and enjoy the outdoors. Overall, I would stay there again.
