Welcome to 5 Lark Street, a one-of-a-kind A-frame surf cottage in North Forest Beach, where vintage charm meets modern updates just ~100 steps from the Atlantic. This lovingly renovated 1967 bungalow captures the spirit of coastal living: relaxed, unique, and just a stone’s throw from the sand.

Step inside and encounter a bright open living and dining area that blends seamlessly with an updated, fully equipped kitchen. Two living spaces provide flexibility, whether relaxing with family or gathering with friends.

The main level hosts a bedroom (off living/kitchen) featuring a full and king bed and an en-suite bathroom. A spiral staircase leads upstairs to two additional bedrooms, each with bunk-style arrangements (lower full, upper twin), sharing a Jack and Jill bathroom with a walk-in shower. These rooms add personality and charm, ideal for kids or guests seeking a fun, cozy space.

Outside, enjoy a screened porch at the rear, perfect for morning coffee or reading while sheltered from sun or insects. The side patio offers Adirondack chairs and a firepit, creating cozy evenings by the flames. Rinse off after the beach using the outdoor shower.

Great location, but the house needs work. Specifically, lack of electrical outlets in bathrooms, refrigerator didn't work properly, and master bath floor coating would peel and stick to bare feet. Positives: very open and well lit. Only steps to beach. Comfortable furniture

Great location

Perfect spot. Literally 2 minutes from the house until your toes are in the water. A 15-to-20-minute walk to Coligny Plaza along a shaded bike/walk path (about the same along the beach). The kitchen was much larger than we expected and had all of the basics. The back porch had a large fan that kept it comfortable even during the heat of the day. We didn't use the firepit, but we sat around it at night. The chairs were very comfortable. The only thing that was a negative for me was the stairs. Very narrow and steep. Getting luggage up there was a little tricky. Overall vibe was a hand-me-down generational family vacation house. Would definitely stay there again!
