Would love to go back over and over. It would have been nice to have a grill. But otherwise it was a perfect getaway spot. Close enough to town to get the village experience but far enough to mountain experience.
The hideaway was the perfect pick for our family’s recent mid-winter staycation. Beautiful surroundings, private location and effortlessly curated space with great amenities. Thanks for welcoming us into your home and being a great host.
Beautifully furnished, ample bedrooms & bathrooms, and a well-stocked kitchen. Clean and well-maintained home with plenty of room, with a modern, cozy vibe. The layout allows people sitting in the great room the opportunity to converse with whoever is cooking or bartending. New washer & dryer -- gotta love that! Lots of parking, which is hard to find in the area.Olivia, the host, is a good communicator and clearly wanted us to enjoy The Hideway, which we did. The location offers easy driving access to multiple ski locations. Even though it is located on a fairly busy (AM & PM "rush hours") 2-lane road, we didn't notice much traffic noise. The backyard is a wooded oasis that includes a big hot tub, fire pit, grill, and picnic table. Thank you, Olivia. We will be back!!
Wonderful cabin in the woods. Very clean and comfortable. There are a few things I'd mention if you're staying with a group. The set up of the rooms was a little unexpected. The "master" with the king bed is actually a jack and Jill set up with a shared bathroom connecting to one of the queen rooms and the little sitting area is off that room. Those two rooms are upstairs. The bunk bed room is downstairs near the living room with its own bathroom and the other queen bedroom is down a small set of stairs with direct access to the hot tub outside. We had two couples and one had a small child and then an elderly grandma. We assumed the two couples and grandma would take the king and queen rooms and the child would be in the bunk bed. But grandma couldn't go upstairs and the parents wanted their child next to them so grandma ended up in the bunk room and we (myself and my partner) were in the queen room downstairs and the kid got a queen bed. The setup was just unexpected so know that going in. The property is awesome and the host was amazing.
Seven wonderfully restful nights in a beautiful mountain cabin tucked into the woods — with moose wandering through the property every day! The home was perfectly appointed in every room and was an ideal place for our grown kids to join us whenever they could. We cooked every day, gathered for meals around the long table, and simply enjoyed being together. A beautiful home, a magical setting, and exactly the mountain retreat we hoped for.
Amazing property! The host was very responsive with any questions we had.
