Great little cabin on the Intercoastal

We had a great time at the Coastal Cottage. The cabin is older, but very clean and well maintained. The dock is wonderful to sit out and fish or watch the boats go by. Will definitely stay again! The only thing we wish it had was a washer/dryer. That would have been handy on a 5 day trip with towels and swimsuits. Will definitely stay again again!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us, Mark. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay at the Coastal Cottage and appreciated the cleanliness and upkeep of the charming older cabin. It’s wonderful to know that the dock provided a perfect spot for fishing and watching the boats—it sounds like a truly relaxing time. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the absence of a washer and dryer. We understand how having laundry facilities can be especially helpful on a 5-day trip, and we’re sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. Please know that we’ve shared your comments with our local team to consider for future improvements. We truly value your insights and hope to welcome you back again soon for another memorable stay.

Little Gem

This house is conveniently located close to places to buy groceries. It is also within walking distance to the Inlet View Bar and Grill. The house is an older one but has been redone and the decor is charming. The beds were okay. Although it has a strange layout and no dishwasher, it was adequate for our needs. We spent most of our time fishing and crabbing on the pier. The pier is in excellent shape and we were able to catch crocker, pin fish, blue crabs, stone crabs, sharks, skates, a string ray, and sea bass. The neighborhood is quiet and we felt safe staying here. The area is not filled with tourists, which made for a very quiet and relaxing stay. I would stay here again!

This was.a very cute place. We would definitely stay there again. The only problem was the dock was so far away..would like to have had a way to get to the dock easier..Also would like to have had a small handrail going in and one off the back deck..However these are little things we loved the place

4/10 Poor

Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but the property is showing signs of wear and could benefit from some updates and maintenance. The bathtub in the bathroom is peeling, and there is a black stain on the caulking that appears to be mold, which made the bathroom feel less clean than expected. Additionally, the freezer racks in the refrigerator are rusted and should be replaced. Kitchen cabinets are very old and some of them do not close. With a little attention to these maintenance issues, this property could provide a much better experience for future guests.

This little cottage had everything we needed for our mini getaway. It was clean, in a great location and with plenty of seating options. A lovely deck on the back overlooking the intercoastal water and a peer with seating and relaxing view.
