Needs an ice maker for sure, also no internet when we arrived but reset modem and was working and to far from new river trail which is why we rented

We had a great stay. Absolutely beautiful view of the river. Firepit was perfect for sitting around after dinner. Host was responsive. Perfect fit for what we wanted.

Blue Ridge Escapes was very responsive to our questions, and the cabin was spacious and well stocked for our needs. The porch (ceiling fans!) is a beautiful place to watch the water and the many birds. This is a beautiful stretch of the New River, but the point of access can be muddy. We really appreciated the hose outside the front door for washing off!

Cabin is in need of a lot of repairs. This is our third year staying here. The table and chairs were broken, dishwasher leaked. Selling the lot to the side of the cabin to someone who added a camper was an awful decision. You now have people right at your front porch. Also had someone complain that we were using the steps to the property beside us to get out of the river when we in fact had rented both cabins in my name. Never had any problems with the previous owners. We will not be planning to return for a fourth year.
