What a charming cabin! As soon as we walked in, the stresses of life just melted away. The upstairs is so relaxing with the claw foot tub and 2 comfortable beds! We’ll definitely rent this again!
When we arrived the cabin was warm and welcoming! The cabin was also VERY clean. The cleanest place we have ever stayed. It was a prefect getaway for our family! Thank you for letting us stay and we hope to visit again next year!!
Beautiful cabin and decorated to give you the feeling you were there during that time with the antiques that was displayed.

We loved our stay in the cabin! The unique details, charm and beautiful surroundings made this the perfect vacation! The best part of this rental however was our host Amy and her fantastic family! Amy was attentive, gracious and went out of her way to make us feel welcome as did her family! We will definitely stay here again in future!
We had a wonderful stay at this charming WV cabin! Rustic and charming with all the creature comforts you need! Very easy check-in, great communication and comfortable and peaceful accommodations. We would recommend Amy’s place for sure!
Small, quaint, lovely cabin! We loved everything about this cabin. We had the most relaxing mini vacation. The only thing was no lighting outside at night. The owner was very helpful with any questions and didn't live far away. Don't let the heating situation scare you, we stayed very warm as the owner tends to the wood daily. I plan to visit again in the summer time.
Amy was a great host. When the internet went out she went above and beyond to fix it.

So glad you got to enjoy the wildlife that is abundant in our Zenith Valley, come back anytime!
What a relaxing week we had at the cabin. It had everything we needed and although we took time to explore the beautiful area, we really enjoyed hanging out on the front porch reading and watching wildlife. We had our senior dog with us, who loved walking down to the river. Amy couldn’t have been sweeter and when we had a rain storm one evening the power went out temporarily and she was there with extra flashlights and lanterns in no time. If you are looking for a place to really relax and recharge here you go…

I really enjoyed meeting you! Wonderful guests come back anytime! The wildlife has been abundant this spring and summer!
We had a wonderful weekend at this cabin. Check in process was very easy. Well written instructions/directions for the cabin. No cell service…that was nice and WiFi service was best outside or upstairs. Tourism pamphlets and books in the cabin were helpful as we navigated the area. Local restaurants had good food and cooked outside on the charcoal grill. Very nice fire pit.
This is a quaint cabin on a peaceful country road with a bubbling creek running behind it. Perfectly clean, well equipped. The host, Amy was super nice and accommodating (she saved our biscuits when we misplaced our key and need an assist). If you are into history,
The cabin is made of hand hewn timbers from the mid-1800’s and was moved and rebuilt onsite. Oh, the stories that place could tell…!!
This is our second stay it is nice and quiet, throughly enjoyed our stay. It is secluded & owners are very nice. Everybody is friendly. We recommend this place 5⭐️, it is simple place though lots of charm. A nice fire pit & outdoor hot tub, though at night you need strong flash lights. No ambient light around at all so very dark. We will be back.
Our experience at the cabin was everything and more than we were expecting! Authentic, cozy and is as advertised. We enjoyed many walks around the wooded property and sat by the stream. Amy couldn’t be a better host and she sure has set everything up in and around the cabin to fully enjoy the experience. Her heart is in it. She even had Halloween lights up so the ghouls we brought felt at home too! Highly recommend.
Loved this cabin. Loved the rustic feel. Loved the property. Loved the creek. We brought a hammock and relaxed all day, reading books. Saw deer every day and night. Our dog was in heaven. The bed was comfy and the sheets were so soft.
Moncove State Park was 25 mins away. Perfect for relaxing while my partner fished!
Amy is a WONDERFUL host. I enjoyed meeting her sister, Cookie, who made us feel so welcome! Will definitely be back.

So glad you enjoyed your stay in our cabin, come back anytime!
Perfect little cabin for a quiet and peaceful getaway.
Amy was the ideal host and was able to help us out with a generator and dinner suggestions during a brief power outage from a storm. We really appreciated her flexibility with our vacation.
The area is very rural and peaceful, and the stream across the back of the property was a favorite activity for our dog. We also enjoyed several hikes, including up to Hanging Rock Raptor Observatory.
Be sure to pick up charcoal/lighter fluid/matches if you plan on using the outdoor grill.
We were centrally located to all activities we wanted to do. We got experience a look into what living in an authentic cabin was. The scenery and wild life were beautiful. We met the nicest people. The town of Union is the greatest little town in USA. We visited museums, hiked to an overlook, seen covered bridges, old churches, old mills, deserted towns. Learned a lot of history. Learned about a talented artist who does art with stones. Totally amazing! Highly recommend to anyone who loves history!
