This rad five-bedroom retreat is decked out in cheerful coastal decor, just like its neighbor Del Mar 4, and it’s got everything you need for an epic Gulf Shores getaway. With plenty of room for up to 16 guests, including a fun-as-can-be bunkroom for the kiddos, this spot is all about relaxing, recharging, and riding the wave of vacation vibes.

Nice property - close to beach

We enjoyed our stay. The condo is nicely laid out and had plenty of room for our family (15 people - 6 adults and 9 kids). The pool was nice and the right of way was just across the street.

Great place to stay

Best property we have visited for sure. Only issue we really had was the AC we out. For a full 24 hours. Other than that we loved it. The location is perfect for kids of all ages. The walk to the beach is perfect. Our kids loved having the option to swim when we weren’t at the beach. The house was great for multiple families! We had more than enough space. The cooking utensils and pots/pans were cheap but they always seem to be in beach house’s so we weren’t upset really. They did give us a small credit towards the ac not working. We felt it warmed more but something was better than nothing. We def didn’t enjoy sleeping in 80 degree temp but it didn’t ruin our trip for sure.

Families vacation

It was great, the rooms were clean when we got there, and our neighbors were really friendly. Whenever I had a question or concern about the property it was really simple to contact myself with them, and had no issues. Overall we had a fun time with our stay. The property even had board games, and tvs to keep the children entertained.

Big enough for a family gathering

Excellent location, house, amenities. We didn’t get to do much outside since we got a cold front, but the games on the house, the different tv services, everything was great to host our big family reunion!!! I hope to stay here again with better weather

Great location

Large house with plenty of room and easy access to the beach. Also enjoyed the walk to the lagoon behind the property. House states that it sleeps 18 but that’s definitely not 18 adults comfortably. Some of the beds were not great, especially those in the bunk room. Overall the house was good and the check in and check out process was so easy.

Is it next summer yet?!?!

We loved this property! The location was perfect, the size of the house was great, and there was plenty of room to spread out. And, the walk to the beach was less than 5 minutes!! We were able to walk to a market and a restaurant and an ice cream shop, and felt safe walking along the road. As an added bonus, we were able to walk to the channel to Little Lagoon, which our teens loved! We also enjoyed that there was a pool and splash pad to use-our kids met some of the other teenagers staying there and they had a blast using the property’s amenities.

Lovely but missing

The home is lovely! There were some missing items one would expect to have in an airb&b. House sleeps 15 people but there was only one roll of toilet paper present in each bathroom. One roll of paper towels, 4 drinking glasses, a blender that did not work & no kitchen trash bags. The sofa was dirty with stains all over. Plenty of pillows for a nice sleep. Other than that, it was a lovely stay.

Good location- not in great shape

We enjoyed our stay despite some disappointments. Beach access was easy and the house had plenty of room. . The problems were all easily preventable - just needed more attention from property manager. Filthy floors, dishwasher not cleaning and a top bunk bed that was missing slats causing mattress to fall through. As it was the start of the summer season, it seems an inspection could’ve caught and addressed these issues before guests had to deal with them. But we just mopped the floor , washed dishes by hand and rearranged people for sleeping and all was good.

Good location- not well maintained

It was easy getting to the beach and there was plenty of room for our large family. However the floors were filthy, sticky when we arrived. The dishwasher didn’t work and the mattress on the top bunk fell through because the top bed had been installed improperly. The management company was apologetic and offered to send someone to fix the bed and dishwasher. But honestly no one was going to trust that bed and we were leaving the next day so it wasn’t worth it. It’s the start of the season, everything should’ve been in good working order.

Spacious & Close to Beach

Our family of 16 stayed at this unit for a week, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. With 5 rooms and an XL couch, we had plenty of space for all of us & it never felt crowded. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking equipment & the fridge was quite large. It was nice to have tv’s in all the rooms, including the children’s bunk bed area. Walking to beach could not have been easier. The crosswalk led straight from this unit to a boardwalk beach entry complete with outdoor shower, bathroom, and lifeguard station. Took just a couple of minutes. There is also an outdoor shower at the uni, to rinse everyone thoroughly after a sandy beach trip. While the pool was pretty nice and well kept, when all of the units are full it gets incredibly packed. So we just watched to find times when it wasn’t as busy to take our kids down. It was super nice to have a pool with our little kids, especially in the evenings. I would recommend taking your own beach towels and extra bath towels. However, there is basically no where to hang wet towels. No towel hooks anywhere and the listing states you cannot hang anything over the balcony railings to dry. So that was not convenient. Although the washer & dryer units held up well to constant use. The chairs at the dining room table show some wear & tear with sharp wicker and tacks poking it out in some places. Just cover with towels for use. Overall, I highly recommend this unit for a family vacation to Gulf Shores.

We had a group of 14 age range from 9 months to 65. Plenty of room for all 4 families bedroom wise and relaxing and hanging out wise.
