About this property

Cozy Mountain Retreat in Linville Land Harbor

This cozy and romantic remodeled cottage is available year round. It is located in the desirable Land Harbor community in Linville, NC and the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. It is perfect for either a couple, small family, or a solo traveler.

As our guests, you will be able to enjoy all that our community has to offer including an 18-hole golf course (fees apply), swimming, fishing, tennis courts, shuffleboard and more! The community is also great for walking. Or, if you prefer, you can just sit on the deck or in front of the fireplace and enjoy a glass of wine or a good book.

The cabin is fully furnished, with all linens and kitchen necessities provided. There are several grocery stores close by and many restaurants are just a short drive away in Newland, Banner Elk and Boone. There is A/C/heat mini-split, dishwasher, washer/dryer in the cabin and we are equipped with cable and internet.

Thank you for renting our cottage. A few reminders upon check out:
Please put towels in a pile in bathroom. Please take sheets off beds and put in pile in bathroom by with the towels. Please fold blankets and comforters and leave on the bed with the pillows.
Consolidate trash into the container in the kitchen. Do not put trash outside as critters like to get it. Please wash dishes and put them away or have them drying in the sink or run the dishwasher.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No parties, no loud music. Respect neighbors.

The host was very welcoming and detailed in his feedback. The house was older but well kept and clean. The kitchen has recently been renovated and is very nice. The street is very quiet, we never saw another person during our stay. The house had everything we needed!

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin very much. Land Harbor is a fun neighborhood with excellent walking and amenities, and the cabin was clean, cute, and comfy. We have stayed here before and will return again. Pros:-neighborhood and location-new kitchen remodel which was extremely well stocked with everything we could have needed!-large living area and sunroom for a small cabin-shaded and cool-easy access from main road-comfy beds-laundry, a/c, cable, and internet-excellent response time from owner when we had a questionCons:-We could find no instructions provided for operating the TVs and cable which took a while to figure out -We couldn't find any information in the cabin about organized activities in Land Harbor, and we discovered late in the week that there were all kinds of things we would have enjoyed attending (ie craft classes, dancing, various board games, etc) Good to know:-although the bathroom was fine for us, it is small and might not work well for the mobility challenged -home is on one level with only a small step to enter--if you find the front bedroom a little warm, put the fan in the hallway to blow a/c air toward the room--this seemed to help quite a bit-a schedule of events was available at the rec center but we had to ask for it--ask at the check in desk

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy place in Linville, NC. The cabin was warm and inviting, with comfortable beds and an amazing fireplace that made our evenings perfect. The balcony patio was beautiful, and we especially loved the sunroom—it brought in so much natural light.The kitchen was very well stocked, which made meal prep easy. The location couldn’t be better: close to Linville Falls, Linville Caverns, Jonas Ridge, and Boone. The road to the property was well maintained and easy to navigate.Highly recommended! This was the perfect mountain getaway.
