Welcome to the Yosemite Boulder Farm! Featured in Climbing Magazine, this is a climber and disc golfer paradise. We have over 20 climbable boulders and a 14-hole disc golf course scattered over 6 acres. It's only 10-minutes to downtown Mariposa, but still secluded enough to enjoy the quiet and see stars. One-hour away is Yosemite National Park, with activities all year long. You could spend all day at the farm practicing your moves on the same type of granite that makes Yosemite famous. THE SPACE: Please be aware that the house is a duplex with an upstairs and downstairs unit. They both have completely separate entrances. The upstairs unit may be occupied by the owner during your stay. The downstairs unit is for guests and is fully equipped with a patio, living, bed, bathroom, kitchenette, and laundry. Sleeps 4 adults comfortably, with a queen-sized bed behind the privacy curtains, and a 4-inch memory foam queen sofa bed in the living room. Best suited for a couple, small family with young kids, or two couples who won’t mind being in close quarters with each other. TV includes Google Chromecast. Simply connect to the wifi network and you’ll be able to stream your favorite movies and shows. In the bathroom, enjoy a large shower, bidet, and hairdryer. Kitchenette includes dishware, sink, microwave, and a mini-fridge. Multiple coffee-makers as well as a hot water kettle for tea. Washer and dryer adjacent to the kitchen area. Laundry detergent provided. Patio has a large table and benches along the side. Enjoy playing games or relaxing in the evening air. No outside guests that are not on the reservation may visit or stay. No parties/events without prior approval from the hosts. PROPERTY OVERVIEW: The true value of the property is in the outdoors. If you want to explore all day and prefer hanging out in nature, this is the place for you. Enjoy walking/hiking on all the beautiful paths around our property. The disc golf course takes about one hour to play. Discs and a map are provided. For climbers, only bouldering pads and chalk are provided. Outdoor Firepit is available November-May. CAMERAS: One exterior security camera is located on the second story and pointed at the driveway only. ANIMALS: The owner has two dogs and two cats. You may see them outside and they would love to meet you. The dogs will be on-leash when guests are renting. There is also an abundance of wildlife that roams the area. You will see quail, wild turkeys, gophers, squirrels, woodpeckers, and some deer. Occasionally there is a bobcat, fox, or snakes but very rarely. You may also get lucky and hear coyotes howling at night, it's a thrilling sound. PET FEE: The Boulder Farm accepts dogs for a one-time pet fee. Dogs must be on-leash at all times when outside. They must be supervised at all times and cannot be left unattended in the unit. Any damages incurred will be an extra charge. WEDDINGS/EVENTS: Please inquire with the hosts about renting the Boulder Farm for your special event. GUEST ACCESS: We are happy to host you at the Yosemite Boulder Farm. We have a detailed map mural in your guest suite for your convenience. The fully fenced garden is privately maintained by the owner, who may also be occupying the upstairs unit during your stay. We ask that you respect their space. *Coming Soon* to the Yosemite Boulder Farm is our new guest rental. We are currently building and permitting a Yurt for our new and returning guests to enjoy. During this construction phase, the Yurt is not accessible to our guests. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: We are located 1 mile down a community-maintained dirt road.
