We hope Sentinel Sunrise becomes a place to slow down and reconnect with friends or family. Start your mornings watching the sunrise over the Sentinel Range from the back deck. Spend your days hiking, paddling, skiing, or exploring the town. There’s a park just across the street for easy walks, and plenty of quiet moments to truly recharge. Unwind in the evenings listening to the gentle babble of the Chubb River, soaking in the hot tub, or settling in for a relaxed game night after a full day outdoors.

After many visits, we created Sentinel Sunrise as a comfortable place to relax, reconnect, and enjoy time outdoors together. What we love most about Lake Placid is that there truly is something for everyone—no matter your interests. Go out and have your adventures, then come back together in the evenings to unwind and reconnect.

Hosting guests who appreciate the mountains, small-town charm, and a welcoming home is something we genuinely enjoy. Whether this is your first visit to the area or one of many, we hope the house feels like a familiar and cozy home base with everything you need during your stay.
