Fantastic Family Reunion Home

We love this home, perfect for our family reunion with plenty of bedrooms, eating areas and especially all the outdoor fun. Not far from the beach and the Picklehouse Playhouse theater. Perfect place for gathering everyone from all over the country.

Great place for family with children

We stayed there for our family reunion, but only had one daughter and her family come with four children. We all had a blast on the Pickleball court and the playground and spending time at ideal beach and boating at epic. We loved our stay it had everything we needed and we had a wonderful time.

This was the best house ever! My children and grandchildren had a great time! I have one suggestion though, the booklet of instructions in the house needs to be updated, it didn't always have the same instructions as the texts and caused some confusion. But we loved our stay, thankyou!

Perfect Home for Family Reunion at Bear Lake

Beautiful property with outstanding views of the lake, close to recreation and private beach access. There was lots to do at the house with a sport court, playground, fire pit, and hot tub! Kitchen was very well stocked, especially for a large group (we had 26 in total). The air conditioned porch dining area was perfect for our large group. Downstairs by the sport court there were picnic tables which also accommodated all of us.Owner gave clear check in and check out instructions and was immediately accessible when needed to find an additional propane tank.

Fantastic cabin with tons of space and outdoor amenities!

We stayed here for our family reunion with 25 people and we loved it! The outdoor space was fantastic and we had endless fun playing pickleball and riding our wiggle cars on the concrete. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of seating. Comfortable beds with space for everyone. We utilized the access to the Ideal Beach Resort, which was a great asset. The host was great with communication and made sure we were well prepared with all the information we needed. Hope to stay here again!

Nice property, Overstated sleeping capacity

The house was nice, it had two kitchens and lots of space. Communication about checking in was unclear. Alcohol policy was also unclear. The listing said it can sleep 30+ but there were only about 4 extra mattresses to supplement the beds. The house isn't super far from the lake but it is not walk-able and is up a pretty big hill on a dirt road. The sport court was great! Lots of nice space outside to play games.

Family Reunion

Wow, what a fantastic vacation we had at this beautiful cabin. Plenty of room for the 18 adults and 13 children, not to mention, all the space for parking the cars and boat. The sports court was a big hit with everyone and the swings and slides for the little ones was a great addition also. Not only did we have plenty of options at the cabin to do but with the "pass card" to Ideal Beach Resort and the surrounding attractions we had a hard time determining what activity to do next. The cabin is laid out very well with two large family rooms, one up and one down with a very spacious kitchen on the main floor and a nice kitchenette downstairs, so didn't need to keep going up or down to find the sodas. The bedrooms were all setup beautifully with great mattresses and the extra sleeping pads were very comfortable. A few minor questions came up during our stay but the owner was quick to respond and always had the answer. He was a pleasure to work with. All of our family members have stated that they would love to make this cabin a regular spot for our family get together's. Thanks so much for offering your beautiful cabin for our use and for those thinking of using it in the future.....don"t hesitate, go for it, you'll be glad you did.

Great set up, wonderful owners!

Mel and Kathy’s home was a great place for our family reunion! There was plenty of space for everyone in our (15-person) party over the 3 floors, and the well-stocked kitchen and outdoor seating made meals easy for big groups. From pickle ball to basketball, swings and the hot tub, the outdoor activities kept the kids (and kids at heart) engaged, and was just a great set up. The lake views from the home were beautiful, and we definitely enjoyed the included beach resort pass for long afternoons by the lake. Mel and Kathy were wonderful hosts, providing a lot of information about the home and responding quickly when we ran low on a couple household items. We would definitely return again!

Fabulous Family Retreat

This property was a perfect set up for our large family reunion. It has quick, easy access to the local beaches, golf course, Pickleville Playhouse and restaurants. The cabin itself had ample room for everyone and offered a wide array of activities. We will definitely be staying here again!

Best family reunion

We enjoyed this cabin so much because it had mattresses for all of us. We had a family of 34 stay in this huge cabin that offered so many different activities for our kids, teenagers, Young adults & adults. We enjoyed the hot tub very much. We hope to be able to reserve the cabin again in the future. It was easy to keep in touch with the owner’s. The cabin was stocked w/all we needed. Thank you!

Fun place!!

We loved this place. It was so great to have so much to do for all ages of kids. Clean, well stocked, and beautiful views! The extra mats were very comfortable, basically twin mattresses. But I do feel like fitting 37 would be difficult. We had 32 that we planned on but only ended up with 25 which was a very comfortable number. The owner were very helpful and great to work with. We would recommend staying here.

We had a great stay here! The owners had great communication. They had helpful instructions in a booklet. The property is very nice. They also have a well-stocked kitchen (appliances, utensils, plenty of dishes, etc.). It was a very nice experience for us.

The property was kept to perfection. The property owner notified us prior to enjoying the property of a problem. I appreciated the communication. It did not effect our stay! another bathroom would have been useful.

Fun place to Stay

We jumped at the chance to rent this property again. We rented it two years ago and loved staying there. It is large, with multiple bedrooms for large family/friend groups. The property has many activities right on the premises for all to participate in. I was disappointed a bit this visit as the property was not the cleanest. The surface areas appeared clean but there was lots of dust on the surface of the furniture, blinds, headboards etc. There was old food pieces in the corners of the kitchen on the wood floor. The bedding and towels were clean, which was great! I would definitely rent this property again, I would just contact the property manager before my stay to ensure the property had been cleaned more thoroughly and dusted.

Great Summer Value

Well organized facility. Vrbo representatives were very knowledgeable and helpful. We loved: plenty of parking area, the access card for Ideal Beach was a huge plus!! Sports court and hot tub were very popular with family members, plenty well equipped, Access might be a little tricky in the winter because the road near the house is hilly and has steep places. Simplest access instructions: Turn right directly across from Ideal Beach, follow the road to Chukar and turn right, watch for the home with the sports court. We loved it and it was not far from Pickleville Playhouse with it's eating facility. We stayed mostly inside on one rainy day but had plenty of room and seating to play table games, watch TV and play video games. Thank You!!
