This contemporary home built into a hill is approximately 2,500 square feet with two car garage on 1/2 acre nestled among trees with red rock views. The house has been tastefully decorated and stocked with the necessary conveniences. The architect for the home was Don Woods, a notable local architect.

The Layout:

Living room - Vaulted Ceilings with Floor to Ceiling Windows providing access to the large Deck. Sectional seating in front of an oversized fireplace with a 70' flat screen TV over the fireplace.

Kitchen - Large and fully equipped for cooking. Cuisinart, pots, pans, toaster, can opener, keurig coffee maker, gas range, gas oven, ice maker, microwave.

Breakfast Nook - Off the kitchen. Table for 4.

Dining - Large round 60' table seating 6 for dinner off Kitchen and Living Room.

Decks - There are three decks with deck chairs, table, outdoor grill for outside dinner, star gazing or conversation. The third deck contains a Hot Tub with Red Rock Views.

The Master - King size tempurpedic like mattress with soft pillows and comforters. Chair, Nightstands, Chest and Large Walk-in Closet. Private Deck with Red Rock View. Flat Screen LED TV with remote. Located Upstairs.

Bedroom One - Two Twin tempurpedic like mattresses, nightstands and chest. Downstairs.

Bedroom Two - Bunk Bed (Full lower,Twin upper and trundle) sleeping 4. Downstairs.

Sun Room - Off the Master Bedroom. Full Size Futon/Couch. Sleeps 2. Upstairs.

Master Bathroom - Newly Renovated Shower. Upstairs.

Bathroom Two - Tub and Shower. Downstairs.

Bathroom Three - Half Bathroom off Living Room/Entry.

Laundry Room - Washer and Dryer with Sink. Off Living Room/Entry.

Garage - Two Car Garage. There is also a second driveway with parking.

Observation Deck - Third Deck. Climb Stairs for additional Views.

This is a spacious house midway between Sedona proper and the village of Oak Creek. It was easy to get around and not far from stores and restaurants. We enjoyed having our coffee on the deck in the morning and watching the sunsets from the hot tub deck. Kitchen was well equipped but some of the skillets need replacing (scratched non stick surface). The primary bedroom was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. We liked the ceiling fan. We had an issue with the hot tub on the first day and it was immediately addressed by the owner. Steps to the hot tub are irregular so use caution especially at night. Overall a good stay.

Best Location

We had a great time in Sedona. The location is directly in front of Cathedral Rock, no shuttle required. We hiked everyday. The hot tube was an amazing incentive for our kids. The owners were responsive.

Beautiful place

We had an amazing time while staying in Sedona. The house was very clean. Plenty of room for everyone. The view from the hot tub was great! Would stay here again!

Wonderful vacation rental and great location

The house and location was perfect. The house was well stocked with everything anyone could need. Beds were very comfortable. Our family of four adults really enjoyed our week stay. Would highly recommend.

Great house and location!

We had a great time at this house. The kids loved the hot tub and the bunk beds. The kitchen was stocked well enough for our needs for the week and we had no issues with any of the house functions (TV/air/appliances/etc). The neighbors were very kind and the house feels private/secluded with lots of trees/foliage around. We loved the location. Not in the heart/busyness of Sedona but a quick drive there (or south to Oak Creek). Also the perfect location to explore both Bell and Cathedral Rock when trying to minimize time in the car for the kids. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend it!

Breathtaking views

Had a great two week stay house was very clean very large communication with property manager was fast and Accurate. House was fully equipped with lots of extras very pleased with that the views from the back deck and especially the rooftop hot tub were priceless so beautiful highly recommend this property

Great college friend vacation

My three college friends and I travel someplace different and decided on Sedona. Loved the house and the comfort it had. We enjoyed the set up of the house and the area with gorgeous views of the red rocks. This house if truly lovely.

Great layout

House layout was awesome with an open concept, and great windows. Well-equipped with everything you need. Relaxing in the hot tub was wonderful in a back yard peaceful setting.

Great Experience!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. House was very clean, and well set up for our short stay. It was the small things that were appreciated - had soap and shampoo in the shower/bathrooms to plastic bags to store our leftover food after cooking it. Didn't hear a peep from the neighbors. Easy access to Sedona, it was just a few minuets to downtown. The view from the hot tub was magnificent! The hosts were great at relaying information. Would definitely use this house again!

Wonderful Hide-away!

Beautiful artsy retreat in a beautiful setting nestled in the pines and right off scenic 179. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed our vacation very much. The house has everything you need and more. Functional, practical and beautiful. The deck and viewing deck behind the house are wonderful! Thank you Diana and Jeff, we truly enjoyed your wonderful house and hope to be back!

Homey Mountain Getaway

This was our first VRBO experience. We will definitely do it again! The rental process was fairly easy and the homeowner was communicative and accessible. This home is nicely appointed with easy access to all that Sedona has to offer. The view from the hot tub is truly magnificent and we recommend using it just before sunset. The changing light on the rocks is spectacular.

Sweet Reunion Treasure

This home-away-from-home was perfect for a reunion on collage friends. From the moment we booked this lovely home to the very end, we all felt very comfortable and in awe of the area it was in. The view from the living space was incredible. Each sleeping space was perfect. Everything we needed was there. We loved the close proximity of trails and the easy access to town and other areas. Some of us enjoyed the hot sub - it had perfect views of the area around us. Lastly, when one of our gang left their jacket, it was easy to have it mailed to her. We recommend this place for a family or friend gathering. It is a sweet Treasure!

Fabulous home with spectacular red rock views

The owners were very helpful with leaving detailed information and tips for us, both in email and printed out booklet at the house. The space was clean and prepped for our family of 6 (2 adults, 4 kids ages 5-14) I especially loved having use of the washer and dryer, as 4 kids tend to need multiple clothes changes each day somehow lol. The view from the hot tub on the back deck was magical, and you could see the Chapel of the Holy Cross as well as several red rock formations. We ventured back behind the house for incredible sunset views. The house is very centrally located to anything you want to do in Sedona. Even though it's off an main street, you dont hear the traffic at all, and the neighborhood is very quiet. It really felt like home away from home for the week and we didnt want to leave! We saw wildlife in the neighborhood and heard coyotes even. The kitchen was stocked for all your home cooking needs as well.

Our stay was absolutely breathtaking! Sedona was on our family bucket list for years and we finally did it. This house was spacious and exceptionally clean. My wife even texted the owner to see if we could come in a little earlier and then was given dinner ideas and the name of the nearest grocery store. The view is breathtaking. If you’re looking for relaxation with a view, this is your place. A pass was provided for the parks and short distances to the walking trails and shopping near downtown Sedona. Book now! All amenities for our family were provided.

Tremendous location with spectacular views and many activities available. We enjoyed several trails nearby and even went to Grand Canyon for a day in only six days! Night sky was unbelievable even with Full moon. The house is very spacious and owners were very accommodating. Highly recommend!

Spectacular View

Couldn’t have chosen a better home to stay in. We traveled to Sedona for our daughter’s wedding. We got in late so it was quite dark when we arrived but woke up to an incredible view of the red rocks from the deck on the hot tub, which we enjoyed immensely!! The house was perfect for my family of 5. Loved the walk in closet in the master bedroom and the decks outside the living room and bedroom. Spacious home with amazing views.!! The owners were wonderful with communication and made our check in and stay very enjoyable!

A Perfect Retreat

The house is lovely and clean. We cooked many meals and I appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked. The hot tub was great, sunset views were amazing! It was nice to be away from the main bustle of Sedona. You could still hear some road noise during the day, but at night it was quiet. We saw the javelina family roaming around the neighborhood a few times! It was easy to walk to trailheads and not have to worry about finding parking. Also I liked being closer toward Oak Creek, easy access to the grocery store and shops and restaurants.

Excellent Location

House was so clean, offered everything, very comfortable, oh so quiet and the location is excellent! Easy to get to anywhere in a very short time. To get to the hot tub you have to walk out the front door across small stones which isn’t bad, but the pictures gave me the thought it was on the deck, it’s not. All and all it was great!

Why they chose this property

The House backs up to the national forest and then beyond to Cathedral Rock. We have seen deer and javelinas in the yard and driveways. The uniqueness of the house, the lot and location. Feeling of being in a forest and seclusion with many Decks and Views.

What makes this property unique

Just a 3 minute walk to the Little Horse trailhead and connecting trails. Between Downtown Sedona and Village of Oak Creek. The hot tub deck at sunset is the place to be.
