Enjoy the view from the large porch overlooking a deep, wide, crystal blue, clear canal with quick boating access to both the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico. Looe Key Coral Reef is a short distance away by boat for some of the best diving & fishing the keys has to offer. If you prefer to stay home, enjoy the canal loaded with marine life, and catch fish from our 60 ft. concrete dock where you can anchor your boat. The lovely 3 Bedroom 3 Bath Summerland Key home features an open floor plan with brand new 2023 quartz kitchen countertops & backsplash and dining room set. Centrally located between Key West and Marathon at Mile Marker 24. Large permitted bonus area downstairs. *Living room furniture backs up to an open staircase, not suitable for young children. Separate addendum will follow and be made part of lease agreement.*Tenant will be given an allowance of $500 total for electric and water & sewer. Anything above $500 will be the tenants responsibility.

Beautiful Paradise

Thank-you so much for sharing your beautiful paradise home with us for the month of August. It was everything promised, and more! The location was perfect for our daily diving trips and we were close to many great restaurants. The house was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

This was my second year renting this property That should say it all Easy access to the reef and offshore fishing Bait and tackle stores are close by Also some good restaurants that will cook your catch Far enough away to avoid the crowds and everything you need is near by A few improvements to the sea wall and a fish cutting table would make it a better experience for boaters/ fishermen

Just what we were looking for!

We enjoyed our stay. The house was very comfortable. It is nice to have 2 levels so the kids can hang out downstairs while the adults have the upstairs. It is a short channel ride to the Atlantic. The canal is quiet and perfect for paddle boarding. The location was great for us. There is a nice little coffee/ ice cream shop 1 mile up the road that we would ride the bikes to.

Fabulous Location

The house is located on a beautiful free flowing canal. We all loved hopping in after a day on the boat. The wide canal was easy to maneuver our 26ft center console boat. My husband and I paddle boarded or kayaked (the house has two) daily out to the flats. The neighborhood was great for walking and running. There are several great restaurants located near the home. Broil and Square Grouper are our favorites. Key West was only about 30 minutes away too. Communication with the hosts was easy and they responded within minutes.

The house fits our needs very well The reef is close by and a 20 mile run for dolphin Local restaurants are good and will cook your catch The addition of a fish cleaning table is a welcome addition Fenders and cleats on the sea wall would be helpful The weather this year was the best so far Hope to be back next year

Summerland Cove is for me !

My family and I absolutely loved our stay. It was a joke away from home. The location could not have been more perfect. The beautiful canal was clean and so close to open waters. The house was roomy and have plenty of space. We enjoyed having the downstairs for our son to play and spread out all of the toys. The house extended our expectations. The neighbors were lovey and offered a helping hand on more than one occasion. Would definitely stay again.

Paradise in the keys

Had a fantastic month. Perfect location for fishing and boating the canal was our swimming pool-aquarium .The house and property were perfect for children. The neighbors were wonderful. Ken and Carol are fantastic hosts.

The perfect spot

We had an excellent stay in Summerland Key. The house had everything we needed and the location was perfect. We we able to keep our boat here and the fishing was incredible the entire time. Anything that came up was handled quickly and the communication with the owner was great. I would recommend staying here to anyone I know

Comfy place in the sun

We had a lovely month here. We kayaked almost every day right out of the canal - sometimes twice a day. The house was just what we needed. Beds were very comfortable. The basement was a nice “suite” for visiting family to use. We loved being close to good restaurants that were dog friendly (Tonios, Boondocks, Kiki’s), as well as close To Key West . We took a 3 hour kayak tour with Captain Marcus on Summerland, which was great. Fresh seafood from Tonios market was awesome as well. Watching the fish in the canal was fun. We saw several angelfish and parrotfish, we would happily stay here again,

Great House, Great Fishing

Very nice house on a flow through canal which was nice because you could take a dip in it on a hot day. Fishing was some of the best we have experienced. House was clean and very nice, owner seems like a very pleasant person. Only thing I would advise is to bring lots of buoys/bumpers there is a string of them there in place but we needed more to keep the boat from rubbing the concrete wall at all different tides. House also has a small bait freezer downstairs which is awesome for fisherman.

Staying at living in beautiful paradise.

Name says it all! It suited our needs perfectly, from the Goliath Grouper in the canal to the comfortable beds & furniture & all in between. The screened in deck was awesome! The location was perfect for getting out fishing into either the Atlantic or the Gulf-weather depending. And there was great kayaking also. We look forward to returning and hope our timeframe opens back up for 2020 and beyond.
