This house was perfect for traveling with small children. My 1-year-old and 5-year old loved the play sets, and all the extra toys that were provided for them. The yard is large and beautiful, and it was pleasant to sit on the patio or by the water. The only negative was that the water was full of algae, and fishing just didn't seem like a possibility. One of the best things was the birds. On our little waterfront and in our yard we saw a heron, a cormorant, geese, ducks, pelicans, killdeer, swallows, mourning doves, red-winged blackbirds, and many more. The pelicans were especially numerous and spectacular.Another great thing about the house is how soundproof it is. People in one bedroom were not disturbed by noise from people in other bedrooms. The night owls did not keep the early birds awake, and the early birds did not awaken the late sleepers.

Thank you for the wonderful review! I am glad everyone was comfortable in the house and slept well. I wish I could better control the weeds of the lake this time of year but with the heat we have been having it has been more difficult otherwise fish are usually biting right off the dock! I hope you will stay again soon :)
Best regards!
