The cabin is old and rustic, but it was absolutely perfect. Super cozy, private, and right next to a river. Can hear the water flowing from the bedroom.
We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. The location was absolutely phenomenal—being so close to the river made the entire experience feel peaceful and refreshing. The screened-in porch was one of our favorite spots, especially for breakfast while listening to the soothing sound of the water. The rocking chairs were such a nice touch and made it even easier to sit back and truly relax. There were just a couple of small hiccups—the lockbox was a bit tricky to open at first, and the stovetop didn’t work properly, which made cooking dinner a little challenging. However, we were able to work around it and still enjoyed our meals outside with the calming river in the background.Overall, it was a lovely stay, and we really appreciated the atmosphere and charm of the cabin.
Cabin was beautiful, clean , beds were comfy. We had a fire in the fire place which made it even better. Caught a few trout , played some board games that were provided at the cabin and went on a walk. Great time thanks again we will be back.
Super cozy cabin with screened porch for enjoying the sound of running water from the creek. Beds were comfy and kitchen had all the basics. May want to bring some foil and other spices if you plan on cooking. Beautiful location close enough to town but far enough from the Apple festival crowds.
The river is absolutely peaceful with natural surroundings. The cabin is perfect with the sound of the river able to be heard within the cabin. We have stayed here many times and hope to return.
We had a great weekend getaway at the cabin. It was perfect for us. We enjoyed a fire in the fireplace and the sound of the river was so relaxing. We can't wait until our next trip to the area.
We're an outdoor family whose idea of a great vacation revolves around water, woods and trails. This little log cabin gets us right on the river, where we enjoy wading, fishing, paddling or just lying out on a rock and soaking up the sun. In winter, the babbling water outside and crackling of the logs in the fireplace create a cozy setting for a good read or a great conversation!
Why they chose this property
Here, we get the feel of a more relaxing era. It is a place where the timeless flow of the water seems to wash away the stresses of the modern world and every day problems get lost in the woods.
What makes this property unique
The cabin is in a rural, wooded environment, not in a mini-city of nearby river homes with noisy occupants. It's truly a rustic getaway by the river.
