We’ve been lucky enough to enjoy all four seasons here in Gaylord, which is a big reason this place means so much to us. From warm summer nights to fall side-by-side rides and hunting, to winters filled with snowmobiling, horse-drawn sleigh rides, and skiing, every season brings something special. Lake Arrowhead has truly become our happy place—a spot to unplug, recharge, and make lasting memories with family and friends.
We’re originally from Ohio, and hosting here brings us so much joy. We love welcoming guests, making genuine connections, and hearing the stories that bring people to this beautiful area. We’re excited to share our home and hope you experience the same love for the outdoors and the same sense of relaxation and happiness that keeps us coming back year after year.

Why they chose this property
We chose the Lake Arrowhead neighborhood for our VRBO because it truly offers the best of northern Michigan in every season. The area is known for its peaceful, up-north feel while still being close to outdoor adventures like skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, golfing, mushroom hunting, and lake activities. The neighborhood itself is welcoming, quiet, and well cared for, making it a place where families and groups can relax and feel at home. With beautiful scenery, easy access to trails and attractions, and a strong sense of community, Lake Arrowhead felt like the perfect location to create a getaway that guests would want to return to year after year.

What makes this property unique is its ability to comfortably accommodate larger groups without sacrificing comfort or privacy. In addition to the main home, there is extra room available through the condo on the same property, giving guests even more flexibility and space. There is plenty of parking for trailers and toys. Guests also have access to the Lake Arrowhead community amenities, including a community pool, private lake access, and scenic trails for walking, biking, and snowmobiling. This setup is perfect for extended families, multiple couples, or group getaways who want to stay together while still enjoying space, amenities, and the true up-north experience—all in one location.
