Curtis was very responsive when we needed anything. He came over and immediately fixed the heater when it stopped working. If we travel this way again we will for sure look for this cabin first!
Cabin was very clean and well stocked. The decor was awesome. We immediately felt comfortable and at home.Curtis quickly responded to a couple of questions we had.Centrally located to great places. Enjoyed the kayaks on the lake.Ducks and swans in the yard a special treat. Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay for 2 weeks.Cabin was roomy and cozy at the same time.Exactly what we were hoping for. Everything was quality. Enjoyed a really nice grill and chairs on the deck.
Absolutely beautiful cabin and view to awake to here. Clean and comfortable. The kitchen had a decent assortment of pots, pans and utensils but don't expect much in the way of spices, sugar, coffee etc as some other rentals may have. Nice to have a dishwasher too. Owner lives on the same property and his home is only a few feet from the cabin. When we were booking we asked about our son's dog being allowed on the property at all. We got confirmation that on the property was fine just not in the cabin. As it turned out, with the rain and projects we were working on at our son's home, we never brought her to the property at all. We took our shoes off before coming in the cabin and before leaving, we took sheets of the bed, collected all the towels and placed in a pile in the bathroom, and we swept the hard floors and the deck on the porch since it had been rainy.Full size washer and dryer were nice to have. It was super rainy and muddy so we washed up gear and clothes. After our stay the owner suggested we had brought a dog into the cabin because he found fur in the dryer lint trap and on the couch. We assured him we did not bring the pet inside and additionally, he has a sign when you pull in the driveway that you are on camera. So if you have pets that you spend time with and find fur on your clothes that might travel into where you stay, you might skip this cabin.
