Every morning, feel a sense of calm wash over you as you take in the stunning views from the comfort of our home. A magnificent wall of windows offers panoramic views of the water, and you can step out onto the spacious deck to immerse yourself in the beautiful scenery. The peaceful lake reflects the surrounding trees and homes, creating a serene, picture-perfect setting.
The expansive, flat yard leads right up to the lake, providing ample space for all sorts of outdoor fun. Enjoy outdoor games (not included), cozy evenings by the fire, or water activities like kayaking, swimming, or fishing from the shore. The large shade trees keep the yard cool during the hottest summer days, ensuring you’ll want to stay right on the property!
But if you feel like exploring, Treasure Lake has even more to offer:
Visit the community pool, where you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the new, large pool complete with a waterslide. Grab a quick bite or a treat at Pirate's Cove, or enjoy an outdoor movie or live music during summer evenings (offered once a week).
Discover several beaches within the community, including two on Treasure Lake and one on Bimini Lake.
Trinidad Beach is a two minute walk from our home!
Take a short trip to Little Flipper Lake for a nature trail walk or some catch-and-release fishing.
All three lakes are well-stocked for fishing enthusiasts in your group!
Golfers in your party will love the two beautifully maintained golf courses in Treasure Lake, Gold and Silver, both of which feature cozy clubhouses where you can unwind after a day on the greens.
This location also serves as a great base for local day trips! Elk Country is a short drive away. At the visitor center, your family can stroll along short walking paths while soaking in the stunning Pennsylvania Wilds scenery. The center offers insights into the local elk population, and you can enjoy a wagon ride around the grounds while keeping an eye out for wildlife. The majestic horses pulling the wagon are a sight to behold, and the knowledgeable staff can share fascinating information about the area. Don’t forget to visit Winslow Hill for breathtaking vistas and a greater chance to spot elk.
Cook Forest is another fantastic day trip destination, offering diverse activities such as hiking, horseback riding, and stunning natural views.
For a unique experience, check out Bilger's Rocks in Clearfield County, where you can explore fascinating sandstone formations, caves, and cliffs. They also host a haunted hayride in October.
And if you’re looking to catch a college football game or simply explore, Penn State is just over an hour away.
In nearby downtown DuBois, you'll find a variety of restaurants, grocery stores, and shops to meet your needs. We personally recommend Luigi's, an inviting family-owned Italian restaurant where you can enjoy a delightful meal.
When winter arrives, enjoy the snow and try ice fishing, or simply cozy up by the fire and admire the winter wonderland outside.
