WOW! What a great place! The location is just minutes from Fort Bragg, Mendocino (must see) and hiking. Plus, it is right on the ocean with fantastic views. And the house...great layout, fully stocked kitchen and very clean.
This property is at a perfect location on a little cove. Felt private, although other houses nearby. Fantastic views throughout the house. Beautiful drive down a private road to access house. Nice gas fireplace that felt cozy. Nice big sectional in living room. The viewing platform was our favorite part--amazing! Stairs to upper floor are steep, as noted. My only complaint, and it is kind of a big one, is that the bedding smelled like sweat. I think new sheets and maybe even mattress pads are needed and maybe cotton instead of polyester, which traps smells. The bed pillows were even worse. Poor quality to begin with, completely flat and worn, but, more importantly, smelly. We wound up using our personal beach towels rolled for pillows. When we took the pillow cases off (no pillow protectors), they were completely stained yellow. Gag. We took photos and sent them to contact. They deducted 60 bucks. I think if all the bedding were updated, especially the sheets and pillows, the place would be perfect! I also think the towels need updated: just felt like cheap hotel towels. All of these are relatively cheap at places like TJ Maxx. I'd bring my own towels next time. But, again, the view was amazing and the rest of the house was spotless! I'd stay again, if bedding updated. The sound of the ocean was so lovely.

Thank you for your thoughtful review. We're glad you appreciated the views, cozy fireplace, and the peaceful ocean sounds. We also value your honest feedback about the bedding and towels and are looking into addressing the concerns. Thanks again for sharing your experience.
Three couples came to relax for the weekend and we were delighted with this lovely home. Everything was here that we needed and the view was spectacular! Even the weather cooperated - beautiful sunshine and minimal wind. Thank you for a great stay!
This is our second time staying here. It’s a very clean place with ample space. The couch is comp y the beds are firm and the views from each room are fantastic! We loved watching the sunset fromThe deck and the upstairs observation room was nice when it was too cold out. Host communication was great. Had no trouble checking in or out. The kitchen is well stocked to make a meal. Would stay here again.

Vacation Dream
Was a absolutely lovely vacation..would recommend this home and homeaway experience to anyone looking to have it all...Thank You for your fantastic service!
Well-appointed home, as advertised, with amazing ocean views. Lovely Botanic Gardens within walking distance and many parks and dining options within a few miles' drive. However, we found it hard to leave this excellent perch above the ocean!
House is perfect for a family with adult children or 3 couples. Great views. Only thing missing is a hot tub. Great location between Caspar and Ft Bragg and lots of great hikes. Highly recommend!
This property is tucked in a quiet and secluded neighborhood between Fort Bragg and Mendocino. Property is very clean and well stocked. Ocean views from the family room/deck are spectacular and unobstructed.
The view is unbelievable! Listening to the waves, watching the sea lions play in the water, we could have not asked for anything more. Great location between Fort Bragg and Mendocino. The house was perfect for us. We left saying this was one of the best vacations we have ever had. LOVE this place
i almost don’t want to give a good review because i don’t want it to book up. Breathtaking views. Very tasteful. Everything you need. Amazing location

Hi John, thank you for taking the time to share your valuable feedback, we are glad to hear you enjoyed the amenities and location of our condo. We hope for another opportunity to host you again soon, for a much more enjoyable stay.
Great beach bungalow. Very clean and tastefully decorated. Comfortable, quiet and peaceful. Secluded gated neighborhood, but conveniently close to both Ft. Bragg and Mendo. And the ocean view from the deck and the observation deck is as good as it gets. My wife and I are already planning our next trip to Sunset Cove.
Super clean. Very spacious. Amazing views of the ocean. Had everything we needed to make breakfast. Can use Apple air play w tv. All bedrooms had a view of the water. The patio was fantastic to watch the sun set. Great location close to Town but not in the hustle and bustle of it. We would stay again.
This house is definitely named correct Sunset Cove, the sunsets were great. House was very clean and had everything you would need. Location is right between Mendocino and Fort Bragg. It would of been nice to have a hot tub. Will definitely be back.
Well appointed home. Good location The view of the sea is lovely but if privacy is important to you there is none to be had. 5-6 homes all visible to one another.
Place was very nice. Incredible views from all rooms. Stairs to second floor a bit steep, might be tricky for older folk. No washer/dryer, so not great for longer stays. Location close to Mendocino & Fort Bragg.
Nest (heating & A/C) was a complicated to use.
the house and location exceeded our expectation from what was even posted on the website. We have rented other homes and this property was outstanding with all that was needed in supplies, instructions, and cleanliness. Beautiful home and made for a wonderful time for our family to spend time together. thank you.
This house was more than what we imagined it to be. So well maintained with a convenient layout and well-equipped. Our family got away for a few days during COVID and it was idyllic. The sound of the ocean and the view from the master bedroom and study gave each of us space to unwind and relax. Convenient to activities, groceries and the little town of Mendocino. Just a 4-hour drive from the Bay Area and we also got some wine tasting in on the way there and back.
