Listing was not clear on the arrangement of accommodation - the owner was living in the dwelling, whereas i read it as a 2 bed cottage available for rent. The owner was nice - however if you are expecting your own place it was disconcerting. The house was fine however some essentials would be helpful, ie hooks in the bedroom to hang clothes (or even hangers) and also a fan for the hot, muggy season

What a whole bunch of confusion. This isnot a one bedroom BNB it is a bedsit in someone's house where you can select 1 of 2 rooms with one of the rooms not even having 2 windows to open. Had explained to the host how vague the listing was only to have condescending responses to my reservations, no privacy.definetly one of the worst experiences I have had

Booked this bach thinking we would have private accommodation while attending golden shears world competition on arrival to check in was told by the owner that we would be sharing the house with her and she would be coming and going she queried us on what our movements would be which made us feel very uncomfortable we did not want this so went elsewhere next morning she phoned us and was very rude questioning why we had not used our beds we were told we hadn't obeyed her rules nothing in her listing said there where rules she refused any refund avoid this accommodation

I've been in Masterton for about 22years. I enjoy making improvements to my home including new flooring, landscaping, and painting. I've done work on 5 houses now and love DIY. I got started hosting out of necessity. Being on my own for the past three years without my husband has been hard but I picked myself up and now I welcome all traveller's to my home sweet home. I love meeting a variety of people from all around the world, I get to learn about different places they are from. Ì learn without having to do the traveling and the world comes to me. Come on over to my place anytime.

Why they chose this property
