🚗 PARKING & ACCESS

✔ Free Parking for 2 cars above the home
✔ Gated Private Road
✔ Keyless Entry
✔ Gear Cart Available for Luggage
This one is for guests who want to genuinely disconnect. Gated road, private dock and 80 feet of shoreline — just the lake, the mountains, the wildlife, and as much quiet as you can handle. Beauty Bay earned its name. Cellular service while navigating around the lake to the cabin can be intermittent.
❄️ WINTER ACCESS
Please note that this home is located in a beautiful mountain setting, and winter access requires planning. After leaving Highway 97, the home is approximately 1.5 miles up a dirt road. The final mile is narrow, steep, and can become challenging during winter weather.
When snowfall exceeds approximately 6 inches, a capable four-wheel-drive vehicle with good ground clearance is strongly recommended. Two-wheel-drive, low-clearance, and some all-wheel-drive passenger vehicles may not be able to safely access the property.
If forecasted or actual conditions reach 6 inches or more of snow and access is unsafe, we’ll gladly provide a 100% refund if you cancel up to 24 hours before arrival. Please reach out anytime for the latest road conditions.
Please note that the property includes outdoor pathways, stairs, and access to the dock, so guests should consider their mobility needs before booking.
🌿 THE SURROUNDINGS
The cabin’s secluded location makes it easy to enjoy the quieter side of Lake Coeur d’Alene. Spend the day on the water, explore nearby trails, watch for local wildlife, or simply relax outside with the lake as your backdrop.
In the winter months, the area is also known for bald eagle viewing, making this a special destination year-round. From late December through February, you'll have the opportunity to witness these incredible birds soaring overhead and fishing in the open water, creating an unforgettable experience right from the private deck of the home.
Come slow down, enjoy the lake, and make the most of your time surrounded by the natural beauty of North Idaho.
Guest Access:
Easy, stress-free arrival instructions will be provided 24 hours before your stay, including simple keyless entry instructions for the front door.
🚤 Boat & Trailer Parking Notice
Guests planning to bring a boat should be aware that parking and maneuvering a boat trailer may be limited due to narrow roads, steep driveways, limited turnaround space, and parking restrictions. Trailer access and on-site trailer parking cannot be guaranteed.
We strongly recommend contacting us before arrival if you plan to bring a boat so we can help you determine the best launch, parking, and storage options for your specific property and vessel.
The Neighborhood:
Nestled in gorgeous North Idaho, the spot offers an escape surrounded by nature. You can soak up the peace of the woods and the relaxing lake, perfect for ditching the city vibes. Come on over and enjoy the quiet life, with tons of opportunities for boating, fishing, and outdoor fun and an opportunity to see an eagle perched above. It's a secluded area so a car is required for getting around. Areas of the road are narrow and steep, therefore we strongly encourage you to take it slow - which will help avoid any bumps as well as not kicking up dust. There's parking for two cars right above the house, and a simple path down to the front door with a cart located at the front door to help carry your gear. Like the majority of homes on Lake CDA, getting to the dock requires a combination of stairs and pathways.

Pet friendly is a big deal for us. the dock and views were great. Its only a 1 bedroom with a loft. The loft does have a bathroom which is nice. water pressure is lacking for a real shower or to wash any dishes in a reasonable time, but overall a very relaxing place.

Matt, thank you for sharing your feedback. We sure wish we had known about the water pressure issue during your stay—there's nothing more frustrating than a shower with poor pressure!
We identified the same post your departure and were able to quickly and resolve the issue shortly after your departure. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and wish we had the opportunity to address it while you were here.
That said, we're glad to hear you were able to relax, enjoy the home, and take in those beautiful views. We appreciate you choosing to stay with us and hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future.
I used Michelle’s beautiful home to host an annual golf trip I do with a group of friends. From start to finish, this property blew our expectations out of the water. Michelle has been the easiest host to work with, and was as accommodating as she could possibly be. The house is beautiful, and was central to all of our needs. We rented a boat for the week, and could boat downtown in less than 10 minutes. I’ll be booking again.
