Truly loved our stay in Muskegon! The house was perfect for our family of 16...Plenty of space to spread out and relax. Both the pool and hot tub were a favorite! The property is exactly as described with all of the extra needed amenities.

Everything was great, from the house to the hosts. Communication and directions were very clear. House was comfortable and clean. The basement with all the games was great; there was some pretty serious poker one night! I would certainly stay there again.

We really wanted to love this property because it has so much potential. The home is beautifully decorated, spacious, and has great amenities. The backyard with the pool and fire pit was wonderful, and our kids loved the basement game area and upstairs play space.Unfortunately, several maintenance and management issues took away from what could have been a 5-star stay. When we arrived, there were about 10 full garbage bags left in the garage from previous guests. We reported it immediately, but no one removed them, and they were still there when we checked out.The master bed was broken, the hot tub was cloudy and unusable, and the washer and dryer didn’t work. We also had a pool technician enter the backyard without any prior notice while our young kids were getting ready to swim. The technician was very kind, but guests should be notified before anyone enters the property. We lost over an hour of pool time, and the host’s response felt generic and offered no real solution.This is an expensive rental with the potential to be exceptional, but the lack of maintenance and meaningful customer service was disappointing. With better management, this could easily be a 5-star property. Unfortunately, because of the number of unresolved issues, we felt a 3-star review was appropriate.

Thank you for staying with us and for the detailed feedback. I’m really sorry your stay didn’t match the experience we want to deliver and that’s not acceptable. We’ve addressed each item with our teams: the leftover trash report prompted an immediate retraining of our turnover cleaners and changes to our checklist; maintenance is scheduled to repair/replace the master bed and to service the hot tub and the washer/dryer; and we’re reinforcing a strict notification policy with our pool technicians and vendors so nobody enters without prior notice. Your comments about guest communication are heard and we’re revising how issues are handled so responses are more specific and timely. Thanks again for the honest review; we’ll use this to get the place back to the exceptional level it should be.
