We had a wonderful time. The location is absolutely perfect, especially for watching and taking part in all the Homosassa river has to offer just steps away! We saw dolfins, manatee and a ton of birds. We were directly across from monkey island and if you're lucky, and get up early, you may be able to watch them get their breakfast. Going back as soon as possible. You can walk to a huge, very nice, local restaurant/bar with live music and decent food. We also went on a Kings Bay Eco tour with Tommy B at Petes Pier, excellent captain and guide who is extremely knowledgeable about the Crystal river area. Island Girl boat tours are a fun experience for the low price of 25!
