Monthly Family Friendly Mountain Escape

This beautiful mountain hideaway is located in the southern most area of Flagstaff, 1/2 a block from a forest walking trail! This very family friendly neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and a short walk to Flagstaff Urban Trails and a neighborhood park and playground. It is a short 5 minute drive to NAU campus and 10 minute drive to all the shops and fabulous restaurants in Historic Downtown Flagstaff.

Our home is complete for any family gathering or getaway, any season of the year. This spacious home is perfect for a quick weekend retreat or a comfortable extended stay. This is our dream mountain home and we want you to have the same experience. If you are looking for a home away from home, this is it!

The home sleeps 7-8 persons with four bedrooms: Master bedroom with king bed; Bedroom two with a queen bed; Bedroom three with a queen bed; and bedroom four with a double bed. In addition, we also have a double futon and couch upstairs in the large upstairs family room.

A large, outdoor patio with comfy patio furniture in the back of the house extends the floor plan and is a great place to enjoy an evening meal, or simply bask in Flagstaff’s spectacular weather. Enjoy the outdoor cooking with the portable gas grill while the kids are playing in the yard.

This is a perfect vacation base camp for visiting Northern Arizona’s attractions -- the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Wupatki, Walnut Canyon, Meteor Crater, Sunset Crater, the San Francisco Peaks, or Snowbowl. This is your opportunity to drink up Mother Nature at her best!!

Great stay!

We are experienced VRBO renters and we really enjoyed this house. It was spacious and clean and the owners were generous and responsive to all our needs. The new, upgraded Wi-Fi was very helpful as well. We enjoyed the nearby hiking trails and peaceful neighborhood. Would definitely stay there again if we return to Flagstaff.

Clean and Comfortable!

We loved staying at this lovely, clean home! It was elegant enough for a nice vacation, yet safe enough for my toddler. I love the layout too... I could cook and clean in the kitchen while listening to conversations at the kitchen table AND seeing the kiddos playing outside!

Arizona family vacation

My family and I (6 adults & 3 children) rented this beautiful home for 4 nights from 7/27-7/31 for a family reunion/vacation. We had a wonderful time. Christine, the owner, was such a pleasure to work with. The house was very clean, warm, full of amenities and centrally located. We had the opportunity to visit downtown Flagstaff, Sunset Crater, Grand Canyon, Sedona, Painted Desert, Petrified Forest and Antelope Canyon. We wish we could have stayed longer! Would definitely rent again!

Awesome Vacation Rental!!

We had the most lovely vacation, in large part due to our stay in this beautiful home! While sightseeing at The Grand Canyon and many of the other nearby natural wonders, this home provided the perfect respite after a day's outing. It was spacious, beautifully decorated and super clean. We cooked many meals in the fully equipped kitchen and took advantage of the outdoor grill. My husband is handicapped and although this home is suited for anyone, the first floor Master and walk-in shower made it extremely accessible for him. The home is set in a wonderful neighborhood with many gorgeous walking/jogging paths nearby. The owners are easy to work with and very friendly. We have rented many vacation homes on VRBO and this, without a doubt, is our favorite one! We highly recommend it!!

Perfect for a large group or family

My family and I rented this beautiful home to celebrate my 50th birthday. We had such a wonderful time. The home was clean, warm, and full of all the amenities that one could need. We rented from 1/26-1/29 with my children and grandchildren. The weather was prefect with enough snow for all of us to enjoy. Christine the owner was a pleasure to work with. She made sure that I had all of the necessary information that we needed before our arrival. It was a prefect birthday and we will definitely rent again.

Our Home Away from Home

This was our 3rd stay at this home. We have looked at a lot of other rental properties around Flagstaff, and this one is a rarity: it feels like home. The neighbors are very friendly, and we met quite a few last Halloween while our family was celebrating our Grandson's birthday. This time we went to explore Flagstaff and Sedona, which is only 30 miles away. The house has everything you need, and everything Flagstaff has to offer is nearby without sacrificing a quiet and beautiful neighborhood. Christine is great to work with, and since we live in the same town, she was able to meet us personally. We are looking forward to our next stay in the fall!

Great Home!

Beautiful home and very responsive owners. We stayed at the home for a soccer tournament for our kids at ASU. Perfect distance from ASU (5 minutes), plenty of room for 6 adults and 8 kids. The owner was very responsive with questions and accommodating additional kids. I would definitely recommend this rental. Nice yard (fenced in) and nice neighborhood.

Wonderful house . . . Wonderful Host

We stayed with family in this wonderful home last summer. The house was clean, well stocked with everything you would need, and plenty of room. The kids loved all the games and back yard. Location was close to everything and we enjoyed the walking trails close by. The owners could not have been easier to work with from booking through check out. We had a couple questions when we first checked in and received immediate responses and they helped with everything we needed. Highly recommended!

First time renters!

We recently stayed in this mountain home for a week. It was the first time we have rented a vacation home and the experience was absolutely great. Beautiful, Comfortable Home

This home is beautiful, clean, so comfortable and was such a joy to stay in. We were a group of friends and 3 kids, attending a near by wedding. This was a perfect respite from the heat. Wedding Weekend

The perfect house for our extended family (infant to grandparents) on a big wedding weekend in Flagstaff. Christine was so gracious to allow us to host the rehearsal dinner there....such fun! Great Place

Snowy mountain was great, perfect for our large family, close to everything and house was super clean! It was first time I didn't have to run through with a clorox wipe! Perfect home away from home!

Oh my goodness … this house! My family and I had a wonderful time in Christine's beautiful home during our first Flagstaff vacation. We're a pretty diverse group (ages, interests), and everyone enjoyed themselves. We loved the clean, open space & colorful decor of the house … but we especially loved the large, well-equipped kitchen/dining area (although my 11 y/o nephew would argue that the back yard zip line was the best feature)! After long days sight seeing, hiking, etc., I was so happy to have a real home to return to (so much better than a hotel)! The neighborhood was lovely and peaceful, just a short drive from grocery stores, restaurants (the Himalayan Grill!) and just over an hour from the Grand Canyon. Another bonus … the pretty Ponderosa Trails were practically in our back yard. Christine was such a great host … she was responsive, warm and thoughtful, from our first email contact right through our day of departure. The rental contract was clear and thorough, as were the house tips! Christine was so accommodating when we had some travel date changes we needed to make (phew)! I really couldn't have asked for more. I'd highly recommend this beautiful property to any and all who'd like to vacation in a home away from home!

Best Ever!!

This home was the perfect place to stay in Flagstaff for our daughter's graduation from NAU! The home is clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. It is even better in person than the pictures online. We immediately felt right at home. The owners go out their way to make you feel welcome and have given great thought into everything that is needed for a comfortable stay. We would highly recommend this home for a stay in Flagstaff. This was out first experience with VRBO and we don't ever want to use hotels again.

Great family get away!

We went to Flagstaff with another family for Tucson's Rodeo break. This was a great home to stay in because it was in a great location for everything we wanted to do and it provided plenty of space for a variety of ages! Everyone loved playing games on the big kitchen table and the bonus room worked out well for the kids to play their own games or watch movies. Our older kids did a tour at NAU and loved the campus! We skied and snowboarded several days and hiked on another day. The walk around the Sunset Crater national park was only 20 minutes away and was so interesting. Our kids really enjoyed having homemade cookies and brownies delivered by the CIA company; Cookie Investigation Agency. They will deliver dessert to wherever you are staying! Thank you to Christine for making our stay so comfortable.

AMAZING!!!!

We seriously loved everything about this place

We booked this vacation rental for a 3 night stay in Flagstaff for 2 families (4 adults, 3 kids). From the 1st time I talked to the owner, I knew this was the place we should pick. She was so friendly and informative, and you can tell she passionately cares about making you feel welcomed in their rental. Before arriving she sends you a very detailed email about directions, what to expect, how to work all the appliances, where everything is in the house, etc. No question is left unaddressed! The best part is the house is even more amazing in person - we pulled into a beautiful neighborhood and knew right away that we were going to love our stay. The house has everything you could possibly want and more. We loved grinding our own coffee, playing apples to apples. cooking in the very accommodating kitchen, the playroom/loft upstairs for the kids, playing in the backyard (our kids got to sled and built their very 1st snowman there) and sleeping in the very comfortable beds. Oh and it snowed like crazy Saturday night so the husbands were planning to shovel the driveway and as soon as they headed outside, 2 very nice people showed up to do it for them (sent there by the owners!). We honestly could not be happier with this house and we will definitely use it again for our future Flagstaff visits. Major thanks to the owners!!

Welcome to our Flagstaff Mountain Home! This home has been a dream for us and became a reality in 2012. We absolutely love Flagstaff and all the amenities of the community. We are avid hikers and snow shoers so we are able to get out and enjoy the beautiful four seasons of Flagstaff. We can even walk out our door and be on a forest hike in less than 3 minutes! We hope that your stay with family or friends is as enjoyable as when we enjoy our Mountain Home!

We had a vision of purchasing a home that was large enough for our adult children and their families to come and enjoy the deep family experience. We continue to make our regular visits with our family and want you to feel the same connection when you are here with your family and friends!
