We had major issues with this stay from the start. The owners were responsive and helped resolve issues however, one major issue is the listing states that renters would have access to 4 bedrooms with two queen beds and two full beds. This is not true. The 4th bedroom was locked and had a sign not accessible for guests. The den had a pull out couch bed instead. The housekeepers locked the door incorrectly so we couldn't get in right away. They also didn't put out new towels anywhere so we had 3 towels for 8 people and no dish towels. They didn't make beds correctly so we were missing pillow cases, top sheets, and no sheets for the pull out bed! There wasn't soap for the bathrooms either. The upstairs floors were filthy. There were chickens in a pen out back which seemed strange. The owner needs to correct the listing.

This guest was friendly and reasonable in communications prior to booking. Before making the reservation, the guest requested a discount due to travel expenses. After the stay, the guest raised concerns regarding the accommodations and requested compensation, including a refund related to sleeping arrangements and a discount for checking out early. The guest also indicated repeatedly that a complaint or negative review might be pursued if the matter was not resolved to her satisfaction. After checkout, the property required follow-up due to a missing popcorn machine cover, and the sleeper sofa mattress having been removed from the frame and left against a wall. I allowed her to check-in at 2:00pm. They arrived earlier than 2:00pm and complained because they were unable to access the house. Not once during her stay did she complain about the bed being uncomfortable. This bedroom features a queen bed, full bathroom, kitchenette and minifridge. The house accommodates 8 people as indicated. This issue has been reported by me to Vrbo in advance because the guest had been threatening me repeatedly to complain about a list of things, if i didn't give her the specified amount. The threats kept coming until I rated her at which time she decided to move forward with her agenda. Sincerely
