Luxury boutique cottage with hot tub set on Yorkshire Moors
Ash House Cottage was restored in 2016 after serving as a farming family's home for over 75 years. Sat on greenbelt land adjoining both Baildon and Ilkley Moors, the cottage is set in 12 acres of private grazing land with scenic walks, local pubs and Baildon village on its doorstep. Our 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom cottage comes with its own walled garden, views across the valley to Leeds and nearby Ilkley and is the perfect locations for those wanting a peaceful escape in the countryside. We restored Ash House Cottage to a high standard, The cottage has a fully fitted kitchen with two ovens, a boot room utility and downstairs toilet. The ground floor also comprises of two lounges and a dining area equipped with a piano! Underfloor heating downstairs and cast iron radiators upstairs ensure the cottage is always toasty warm, and the two log burning stoves act as an un-necessary but compelling way to add to the cosiness! We have worked hard to ensure our cottage is of the highest standard throughout.

About the host
Hosted by Sonia Whiteley-Guest
We are a Yorkshire family who always dreamed of converting a barn. Little did we know that living in a caravan and restoring a 17th century cottage would be first on the list!
We adore homes, decor and all things that make a house a home. We are very excited to be sharing Ash House Cottage with new visitors to the gorgeous Yorkshire Moors.
Why they chose this property
The cottage was lived in by the Wildman family for over 75 years, and barely touched in that time. The family farmed the land with a dairy herd, and later for beef and lamb. The cottage still has many of its original features, now lovingly wrapped around 21st century mod cons and a little touch of luxury!
