Rooms & property were clean. It was a family friendly home. There was enough room for my family. My grandchildren enjoyed making s‘mores in the fire pit. The host was responsive when we had a problem. The only complaint we had was the bed/mattress were uncomfortable in most of the rooms. They need to be updated.Over all we greatly enjoyed the house, property and area.

If you are looking for modern conveniences and comfortable beds, this is not the place for you!The property is “off the beaten path” from Lake George Village, about 20minutes through winding roads. The house was in various stages of disrepair and the furnishings were extremely old “odds and ends. “ The 3 bathrooms need work on the plumbing and much updating.For the amount of money we paid, it was maybe worth a third of that. While the house looked charming and quaint, the lack of upkeep and other issues made it difficult to fully enjoy.

Great location and peaceful setting

We loved our stay and the owners were quick to respond to anything we needed. Beds could be upgrade for comfort but overall it a great place. Love the yard and man cave. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you for a great weekend

Another wonderful year w/our "CORE" group of friends. Pool was wonderful. For the second year, Glenda was responsive and has her people ready to respond to anything may come up!As said, this is an old farmhouse and barn. (our group first started 14yrs ago-camping, so the house was wonderful for us! But we enjoyed the entire property, pool table, pool, grill, front porch, and the large main dining area.

Neighbourhood and area of the property was great, but owner should do some work at house, downstair no bathroom lock, hitter doesnot work properly, we also had an issue with one of the bed downstair. other then everything was great.

Good place to stay in North Country

I'm very happy that we found this rental.Was able to fit in 8 of us plus 5 dogs in this house (with the dogs normally being a big issue for other rentals). With 7 bedrooms, everyone had a place to sleep.It's a cozy country house, that fits in perfectly with the location and being up in the mountains. We were 30 minutes from the Gore Ski resort and 15 min from the town with stores, gas station and the usual convenience

Very Nice

Great house, very rustic & definitely very comfortable. The weather was cool for our stay, and the house offered a great feeling of warmth & relaxation. Very quiet. Recommend for anyone looking for some solitude, but just a short drive from Lake George.
