Unfortunately, I have found neither VRBO or the host to be honest. We searched for properties that could accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. We booked this one, but there was a mistake and only one bed. I was willing to take the blame, although my reservation does not state this was for only 2 people. No matter. The host told me I could get a blow up bed for the kids. I said ok, but mentioned, that the original bed did not have an adequate blanket. There was only 1 thin mid layers folded. I assumed she would tell me where additional blankets were stored on the property and that would be that. She told me she had none and there was no one that she could bring me one. For context, forks can dip to 48F in June and is surrounded on all sides by forests and the ocean. I called VRBO. After an 1.5 of waiting on the phone, I told VRBO I had to leave the property to find adequate shelter for the night. It was already getting dark and bears, cougars, etc. are known to frequent the area. The VRBO agent agreed. They told me they had to contact the host to refund bc it was an external booking even though I booked through VRBO. The host refused to answer the phone even though they knew there was a problem. After a week and 5 hours on the phone, there has been no solution and host thinks blankets are optional Forks is great, but host is not. Look elsewhere for accommodations if you don't want to freeze. BTW, the "kitchenette" has no sink, which makes it a countertop, not a kitchenette.
