About this property
Rural Lincoln Tiny House - country feel with fast freeway access
Fly the coop of the daily grind in this Rooster/Chicken themed tiny home in rural Lincoln. Relax and enjoy a unique and tranquil getaway while being close to shopping, the Placer County Wine/Beer Trail, and local concert venues and casinos. You'll be surrounded by wide open spaces while being freeway close.
This is a Silvercrest Tiny Home that was delivered new in 2021 and ready for guests who enjoy the quiet side of life while being close to amenities.
THE SPACE: This is a 399 SF tiny home, but guests are surprised at how spacious this feels when walking in. The home has a full-sized kitchen with full-sized appliances, gas range, microwave, Nespresso coffee provided, and has a compact washer dryer (no dishwasher).
There is one bedroom and one bathroom with an upstairs loft area that adults will not be able to stand upright in .. it's a short ceiling, but once up there and seated, guests will enjoy the movie theater feel with a TV, DVD player, futon that flattens out to a full-sized bed, and a large, adult-sized beanbag chair.
Although not ideal for four adults, it can work. Guests should take a look at the pics and floorplan to determine suitability. Small children should be supervised given the steep stairs.
If advanced notice is provided (and the girls aren't on strike), fresh eggs can be available and left for guests.

Thanks for your great review. I hope you made it over the hill ok and arrived safely. Would love to host you both and Harley if your travels brings you back through again.
We have always wanted to live in a tiny house! It was fun to pretend while traveling! This was a cute, clean, conveniently located place to stay. I would choose this property again!
GREAT property and best host! We were very comfortable and love our little house. Bed comfy, amenities fantastic. The extra touches were superb. Will definitely come here again!
We had a great stay! We were able to bring our dogs without any issues. The yard was fully fenced, place was well maintained, and our host was great! We even got to say hello to her animals - bonus! We would definitely stay again!

Hey Charlie. Thanks for your kind words. Would love to host you again. I appreciate how nice you left The Coop ... above and beyond.
This is one of the most pet friendly VRBO’s that we have stayed in. The fenced yard is kept mowed and clean. The tiny house felts much bigger than it was described. Everything was clean and there were fresh picked tomatoes and fresh eggs available. I recommend a stay here!

Thanks guys - and you saw my yard at it's worst -- I need to mow every five days to make it look like a park, but it's been so hot - it's been a week, which drives me crazy! Loved your pups and thank you for being an awesome guest. Good luck with the remainder of your Oregon move and being closer to family - that's always a good thing. If you're back this way again, we'd love to host any time we have availability on our calendar. Best wishes!
Overall we were pleased with our stay. The place was clean, the fresh eggs were a nice touch and yummy. The host had asked about our arrival time and it would have been nice if the AC had been turned on for us. It was a very hot day and it took about an hour for the place to cool off.

Thanks for your kind review. As much I try to be onsite 24/7, sometimes business takes me in different directions so I can't always have A/C turned on prior to arrival just like ones where owners aren't on site. I'm glad the weather has cooled down, so typically with three mini splits, the unit is cooled within 15-20 minutes - to meat locker temps if desired .. ha ha. Appreciate your stay and sorry if we fell short of your expections for interior temp.
Wonderful host ! Shower stocked with wonderful scented products along with other toiletries in the bathroom. Fresh eggs in the fridge and fully stocked coffee bar. House was clean, cozy and modern. Would definitely stay again ! Perfect couples getaway, loft provides extra space for kid or pet !

Love your review .. thanks so much! I hope to host you again soon!
I enjoyed the country feel being on the outskirts of the city. The house is modern, clean, nicely furnished and decorated. It is well designed to maximize the space. Many nice touches. I especially enjoyed looking out the window at the hummingbirds using the feeder while I worked..

It was such a pleasure hosting you Joanne. We look forward to having you back soon!
Perfect mini home with a full kitchen, laundry, front porch. My only suggestion would be to add a side chair in the living room since there is a low profile love seat and a side chair would be an great addition

Thanks Bob and agree for shorter stays, a small side chair would be great, but it would have to block the stairs or eliminate the side table -- or be in the path of the kitchen entry. Please private PM me with thoughts as I may be overlooking an opportunity to make it better. For longer-term stays like yours, I agree the addition would be welcome.

About the host
Hosted by Cheryl Muzinch
I was born in San Francisco and moved to Sacramento with my parents when I was just a baby. I enjoy riding motorcycles and horses whenever possible and hosting guests so they can enjoy a rural yet centrally connected property.
Why they chose this property
I've had this home for over 35 years and added the tiny house in 2021. It rolled in on wheels, new/fresh from the factory, and I completed the finishing touches that included three mini splits for comfort, a Trex deck and surrounding landscape.
What makes this property unique
While small, it affords all of life's necessities complete with full-sized appliances (washer/dryer are smaller/compact) while providing space to our guests and their pets.
