Our stay at the Kracken House was fabulous. We had great, open communication with the hosts prior to, and during, our stay. They were very friendly and helpful. The home is newly renovated and done beautifully, and was spotless when we arrived. The bedrooms are all spacious and the kitchen/dining/living area is huge and super functional. There are grocery and drug stores within a mile of the house. The home is within 5 minutes of the Dearborn Ave area that has little shops and restaurants, and a lovely full service yoga/pilates studio that I took a class at, and loved. The gulf side beach is a short boat or car ride and is absolutely beautiful, and had lots of shells and shark's teeth to admire or collect. The bay was a treasure too, with crystal clear water and excellent fishing, as well as manatees, sea turtles and dolphins. The area has a laid back atmosphere, perfect for vacation, and the home is lovely.
