Small, cosy chalet "Pia", 3 storeys. 1.5 km from the centre of Zermatt, on top of a hill. In the house: central heating system. Restaurant, bar 20 m, bakery 35 m, 20 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Kapelle" 20 m, railway station "Bahnhof Zermatt" 1.5 km. Mountain railway 400 m, ski rental 400 m, ski bus stop 20 m. Cabs cannot stop right in front of the house. Please note: the keys‘ handover takes place by the agency Interhome in Zermatt. Additional accommodations can be booked.
1-room apartment 25 m2, on the ground floor, south facing position. Simple and practical furnishings: living/sleeping room with 2 beds (90 cm, length 200 cm), TV. Exit to the terrace. Small kitchen (2 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, freezer, electric coffee machine). Shower/WC. Heating. Small terrace, south facing position. Terrace furniture. Beautiful view of the Matterhorn. Facilities: hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only. no oven in the kitchen.

What a great view!

Spent four days skiing in Zermatt, property was close by the main lift so I walked with my skis five minutes to get on the hill. Property had everything I needed, place to cook and a kettle. Really enjoyed the view, drinking tea every morning looking at the Matterhorn.

You get what you pay for It’s perfectly fine for a weeks skiing Close to gondola but out of the town Maybe difficult to find as there is no sign outside Bus stops almost outside which makes up for it being far out of town Accommodation is basic but has all you need but don’t expect any luxury We might stay again if on a limited budget

Zermatt in April

The location is the best part of the stay. When you open the door from the apartment, you are literally looking out at the Matterhorn! I suggest that after you arrive and get the keys from the Interhome office, you take the free Red Line bus to the Winklematten bus stop. From there, you are just a few meters from the apartment. Also, the hot water is VERY hot so be a little careful. It is a terrific place and I highly recommend it.

First Time in Switzerland

This was our first visit to Switzerland and we throughly enjoyed it, in part because of this apartment. Its location gave us spectacular views of the Matterhorn and it was removed from the hustle of the main town. We’d sit on the patio in the evening and just soak up the beauty of the Alps. Being up the hill made the walk a challenge after hiking, but cabs and buses are available. The apartment could use a deep clean, there were cob webs in the bathroom and a previous guess’ spent floss on the floor, but in general, it was clean. The pillows were, well, not pillows, but the bed was comfortable. The wood work is very nice. One suggestion: put a screen on the front window to keep flys out. I’ll stay here again.

Sehr toller Blick von der Terrasse. Einfache Wohnung wie beschrieben. Man sollte etwas fit sein, da die letzten Meter über eine Wiese zu laufen sind.

Super Lage mit Blick zum Matterhorn

Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen. Die Anfahrt mit dem Elektrobus ist ideal, von der Haltestelle bis zur Haustür des Studios sind es nur ca. 50 m. Gut waren die Lichter entlang des Fusswegs für die nächtlichen Heimkehrgänge. Es gab Frottierwäsche im Bad und Geschirrtrocknungstücher für die Küche, das ist praktisch. Man konnte gut und genügend heizen. Den Fernseher konnte gut in Betrieb setzen. Auch das WLAN hat funktioniert.

Schmutzige Wohnung

Die Wohnung war schmutzig bezüglich Ungeziefer wie Spinnen in den Schränken und Ohrwümer im Badzimmer, Schränken und Fussboden. Zudem waren die Abläufe im Lavabo und in der Dusche verstopft. In einem Küchenschrank fanden wir einen Plastikstöpsel mit dem wir dann unter Druck und Unterdruck die Verstopfungen beheben konnten. Durch den Druck bzw. Unterdruck kam eine grosse Menge Verunreinigung zu Tage. .. Dafür müssen Mieter bezahlen?

We stayed there for 17 nights over Christmas and New Years Eve. Nice Studio with a small terrace and stunning view of the Matterhorn. Bus stop, Bakery and Restaurants next to the house.

Les armoires ainsi que l'appartement étaient remplis d'araignée et de toiles d'araignée. La moquette dans la partie couchage est dans un état lamentable . La petite terrasse et la vue sur le Cervin nous ont permis de rendre nos vacances acceptables.
