We enjoyed our stay so much! The Host and Hostess were very friendly and helpful, yet unobtrusive. The rooms were comfortable and well furnished, and the neighborhood is very lovely and walkable! It was absolutely perfect for our needs.
Great location. Quiet street and easy to park. Was told street can get busier when events happen near by but no events when we stayed. House was clean and had everything you would need. Host was nice and quick to respond to messages. Would definitely stay here again.
I very much enjoyed my stay at River Hill Home.My host Tom is very welcoming and accommodating, and he was flexible in allowing me to stay an additional night. The apartment is lovely - clean, secure, very cozy.I'll stay again when I return to Richmond.
My family had a wonderful stay at Tom's River Hill home. It was clean and newly renovated. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. It is nice not to have anyone above or below like most rentals in Richmond. It is a short walk to the river/Belle Isle and the new amphitheater and a quick drive to almost anywhere in Richmond. We would definitely stay there again.
We had a great stay at River Hill Home. The home is thoughtfully decorated, with personal touches (including paintings by the owner). Appliances are modern and the kitchen is well stocked with dishes, etc. The location is very convenient--a short walk to VCU--and street parking was always available. We also really enjoyed chatting with Tom--he and his family are lovely people!
Tom and Ola are superb hosts. House is immaculate in a great location close to downtown and more importantly VCU health systems where I work. Tom has been very good with communicating and accommodating working with my schedule to give me a home away from home. My colleague and I will always choose this place to stay! Thank you Tom and Ola!
This place was amazing! A charming two bedroom with excellent beds, private baths in each bedroom, laundry, and a cozy little living room/kitchenette with all the amenities. It's very clean/modern, in a safe neighborhood, close to everything, and easy to get around. It was comfortable for my work colleague and me, and would work well for two couples or a small family coming to spend time out and about in Richmond. Tom was an excellent host, quick to respond to any questions, and has well cared for this space. Looking forward to returning and exploring Richmond more!
We live next door sharing the porch. We have lived in the village of Oregon Hill for around seven years and we love it. You may meet my Polish speaking Mother-in-Law, Teresa, who likes to sit on our side of the porch giving treats to passing dogs.
