This house was perfect for our family to stay at. Plenty of room for everyone. The location was great, it is real close to the RMNP which is the reason we were visiting as well as a lot of tourist attractions that we were able to walk to.

I would give five stars for the location, if that's all that mattered. I would describe the rental as a tale of the good the bad and the weather ugly. THE GOOD, literally minutes away from RMNP and an easy walk down town. THE BAD, the property looks like it may have been abandoned. It does not seem to have had any upkeep whatsoever. Not showing in the pictures is the missing siding, the really bad outdoor table and chairs (take a cushion if you go down), and somewhat hazardous stairs, front and back. As for the laundry, I opted for the coin-op. THE UGLY, I understand that it's rented to who knows who, but seriously, it was like living in a thrift store. I believe the interior was as clean as it could be gotten but there are things that can't be just cleaned away. The appliances and sink were great. The "cabinets" had a sticky feel that old varnish can get after years of use and cleaning. I know the old saying if you can't say anything good, don't anything at all, but this property needs to be addressed.
